every dime u spend on a SKODA is worth it.
no second thoughts about that, if you are a person looking for features, how the car looks from inside , then please buy the corolla but if you are looking for performace than it IS THE SKODA. no second doubts about that, a supercharger that ROCKS. . . built like a tank, holds the road completely. . . wild engrineering on this vehicle.

In April 2005, when I purchased my RS, I had seen Skoda ads in the Delhi Economic Times proudly stating that they have extended the warranty for two years. Even the dealer rep had informed me of the same, ofourse verbally. Surprisingly, I don't see this any more in their current press ads. If anyone can lay their hands on a 1 year old newspaper, this could be proved.

Ask them to put their money where their mouth is.
You will be surprised then,

ok it's out now...

As per J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2005 India Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study SM released on Wednesday (22 Feb 06)...

"...The Octavia sets the industry benchmark in six of the eight factor areas composing APEAL, said Arora. The Skoda Octavia demonstrates this fact, with the highest percentage of customers who are inclined to recommend their model to others..."

Thank god for the quality

I guess the build quality is great and thats the reason for this. It sounds like a deja vu.. The opel's had german engineering and good build quality. Their after sales service sucked as a result of having just one bad service outlet in major cities. I hope the same fate does not befall the skoda..
