I have heard Mahindra exports a lot of tractors to even developed countries like the US. Does anyone have any idea on what is the amount of tractors exported among the sale figures.

I am guessing that will play a very part in the margins, imagine selling the tractors to US etc. Then the amount of margin will surely be higher, in fact higher than the margins that one will make out of a SUV sale in India.

Unfortunately for them the operating profit margins are under pressure and they feel that this would be the case in the coming year too. This is what is causing the stock fall sharply. Even though their farm division may have a good year with the prediction of a good monsoon in India, it may not offset the rising costs which as per them they cannot pass on to the consumer.

Decent results. I was interested in knowing the passenger car sales and how they compared. However, I could not find any specific information regarding the same. If you have those numbers, kindly share please:.

Has M&M complete its 70% acquisition of SsangYong Motors, which I think required an equity acqusition of close to 400million dollars???

If yes, then the financial results are pretty good. But if not, then next year will be financially a tough year for them, I think.

Thanks GTO for sharing the file.

I am happy both as a customer and an share holder :)

Keep it up M&M!
