Had seen a White Sunny being tested in Chennai near Nandanam signal, sorry no picutures were taken. As I was standing on side of that car waiting for the signal, i had a good view of the interiors, they looked neat.
The rear leg room was one of the best i have seen in the C segment cars. If this one is priced in the Honda City range, then this will be the closest one to City interms of space.

That variant shows parking sensors on the rear bumper. Maybe its standard on the top end variant?

Nissan sedan launch in news again!

Nissan Sunny spied testing, Nissan's upcoming sedan spyshots | DWS Auto India

Highlights:
The upcoming Nissan’s global sedan is expected to be powered by a 1.6 litre petrol motor that makes 109 bhp of max power and 145 Nm of max torque. This engine could feature a dual-injection system and twin Continuous Valve Timing Control (CVTC) for better fuel efficiency.
The sedan’s diesel version could be powered by a tweaked version of Renault’s 1.5 litre dCI motor that already powers the Nissan Micra diesel and Mahindra Verito (Logan) diesel. Both the engines will be mated to 5 speed transmission while the petrol variant might get automatic transmission at a later stage.

Spotted this test car (along with another white one) this evening in Chennai.
The emblem was covered, but looked like a VW emblem over the cover. But not sure as the car looks bit cheap and lacked VW looks.
There are no front grills, but I guess there was a provision.

Curvy sidelines is the trend now. Resembles Verna Fluidic, Fiesta New.

Uh, that is a strange window design. Did they get suppliers for maruti swift and swapped parts? Good thing is the reverse sensors in the mid range model. If this is the high end, then alloys are missing !!!

Any info on its launch guys as I'm planning to go for Swift ZDi but if this car or new Dzire CS comes soon & at the pricing nearby to it than i can also consider these cars.

Spotted a white one in Medavakkam, Chennai. Could not take any pics as I was busy crossing the road and also did not have a camera.

From side profile and back, it looks like Sunny is nothing but the all new 2012 Nissan Versa. In the US, this car competes with Verna, fiesta and likes.

AFAIK parking sensors are available in mid variant & fully loaded variant comes with alloy wheels.
IMO the hatch version (Global Hatchback) looks more promising & cute than Sunny.

Quite a strange design,the front looks as if it is perennially surprised,while the back looks as if someone dropped a weight on it.

Interiors looks decent,and looks like it will have good legroom,from the long wheelbase.

for me interior looks OK. Extended boot is also sensibly incorporated (unlike Maruti Dzire) and front is also lifted a bit from the looks of Micra.
Overall a good car to compete with Verna, Vento if the price factor is taken care of.
They might position it for next segment like corolla but well .. who knows.

Is it just me or is this looking vastly improved fom the "bolt-on boot" that it seemed to be initially? It looks nothing like the Dzire now!

Some great pics of LHD Nissan. At the first sight looks like a well proportioned car front and rear. The interior plastics look like they are made to last (sample Power Window switches). If priced right looks like a good package for our roads. Love to hear more... Keep it coming
