- Kms : 3,000 odd
- Price : 7.25 lakhs. New cost =9.75 lakh
- Would I go back and buy this car again? YES.

Bought 2007 Honda Civic

- Age : 3 years old
- Kms : 7,400
- Price : 8.25. New cost = Nearly 15 lakh rupees (V Variant)
- Would I go back and buy this car again? YES

I don't think I am ever buying a brand new showroom car again. Never. The value in the pre-worshipped market is too hard to resist.

This will be a very useful thread - one reason I couldn't convince my wife (and myself) to go for a new car was the lack of such information from guys who actually bought and sold cars.

- Price : 6.20 lakhs (excluding insurance) New Car Rs. 8.00 lakhs (5 speed)
- Reason of Sale : Bought the ANHV
- Will I buy this car again : may not as I need a sedan

Transferred the No Claim on Insurance to ANHV and saved 18K.

The Ex-showroom price when I bought the i20 was 6.53 lakhs. This being a 5 speed car, I thought I got a fantastic price on trading-in this car to the dealer.

Hyundai cars seem to have decent resale values

- Negatives: had wheel alignment issues, very poor after sales service by Chevrolet, will probably never buy a Chevrolet again.

Pros: Lots of space, all comfort features, robust suspension, cheap to maintain, 1.4 petrol has lots of torque. Great family car.
Cons: Reverse snob value, everyone in a Hyundai / Maruti / Honda/ VW gives way to an Indica. Boat like handling.
