This is the offer I got from Magnum Honda. 11,38,860 Rs is the OTR for AT. He is willing to give it for 10,86,114. And since I will be going via Orix the insurance of 27419 INR need not be paid as well. Some accessories also promised. Is it a good deal?

In have also been offered 50K + basic accesories across all models in Bangalore.

Sales Rep mentioned that they are getting rid of stock for the updated model which is expected by end of this year.

Thats why probably they dont have any E-MT in stock nowadays. So any information about the facelifted model of City thats coming out , hope its only going to be only some interior changes .

Since 50k seems to be the standard discount in Bangalore. And a few of you have received the same. It must be so. Here in Pune though 70k can be had.
And that includes 4 year warranty and Honda RSA.
Plus bag load of accessories. Read Alam's post for example.
So make sure you get the extended warranty and RSA. Plus accessories of your choice. And dont forget the body cover. Which is easily squeezable into the deal.

The 50K was on the on-road price, I don't have further details as I was just enquiring. I am keen on the revised model.

Folks,

Just a note of caution. Quite a lot of Honda cars have been submerged in the last month due to heavy rains especially around Mumbai.

Make sure that you check thoroughly that you are not getting any one of those.

Wow good find bro

I don't know if it is genuine, as Honda would have made it public.

However the timer on the site shows that the launch is less than a month away, that seems to concur with what the Honda sales rep has been telling me (launch in September 2011) and probably also explains the massive discounts to clear existing stock.

@mdsaab - you seem to share a pretty good rapport with the sales rep. can you please find out if there is any truth to the face lifted HC on the way? if so by when? Appreciate you taking this trouble.
