Mumbai, 23rd, June 2011: To commemorate their long awaited entry into the
Personal Vehicles arena, Force Motors today unveiled a brand new logo for
the Division. The existing corporate logo had been the face of the company
for the commercial vehicles, agricultural tractors and encompassed brands
like Trax, Traveller, Trump and Balwan. The company is now entering into the
personal vehicle segment, where the needs and aspirations of the consumers
are very different. The new logo intends to create an independent identity
that resonates with the desires of the non-commercial vehicle buyer.



In order to differentiate the commercial vehicle unit from the Personal
Vehicle Division it was natural to be different, hence the new logo. The new
logo stands for a need to never be content with the status quo. The deep red
colour brings this across visually. The deep red represents a never-say-die
attitude, an indomitable determination and attitude that will do all it can
within its power to effect positive change. It is all about energy and
vibrancy. The new symbol signifies the commencement of a new era for Force
Motors.



Mr. Prasan Firodia, Managing Director added, "The logo represents a movement
independent of any inertia, a movement that is natural and represents both
growth and change. It represents ambition and hunger for more and is an
indication of the direction that Force Motors is headed towards rapidly."

i thought of Cars but a google search revealed it was not a direct lift... its a Hybrid between Cars and Dhoom I think

Frankly i can't understand why the awkward name and that too a new emblem that reminds of something toyish,something you would have did in the 80s.
And the Force emblem too which would have been better with a silver background not a red one.

Ok - 'Inspired' is the term (as bollywood music directors so often use) here!
Come on - Force Motors may be short of ideas on the design front but they know very well not to blatantly copy a Disney/Pixar design - they would be sued to smithereens if they did that.

Come on guys, lets not be so critical of this effort. Right from the vehicle to the logo. Please, let it launch, let the official test drive come up!

I'm in no way saying this would be an excellent vehicle, just that lets give it a fair chance.

Am i seeing a inconsistent panel gap in the teaser pic below the headlamps. Check the panel gap between headlamp and the bumper on both sides. Isn't there a panel gap that is just not fitting ? Could be just my perception.

Force should definitely trying to beef up the sales/service support for its vehicles and build a brand. I think the logo change is a step in that direction.

Force is in utility market so premium SUV from Force might not really appeal to individual buyers but taxi segment might hop in.

Yes Dry Ice I agree we should not be prejudiced. I genuinely feel that we should wait out for this launch and a review.

And the specification link is up. You can see the front design revealed up to the head lights. If the picture is that of the real SUV then I can see HID or Xenon headlights with day light running lights. see for your self.

Guys, please give credit to the Force Engineers. It takes a lot of grit to re-engineer the Foday logo to the Force Logo.

Engineers don't design the logos. It is done by outsourced consultants in Force Motors & most other companies.

In this case it is Lintas.

They just changed the background color, nothing else.

Look at the Gama review I did in April 2007, they had the same logo then, without the red.
