As AVK Force rep updated me today, there seems to be already some 60+ bookings with a waiting period of 3-3.5 months and TD still away upto Wed in coming week. Bajaj Tempo seems to come back with Full Force it seems with this One. Lets hope we will get to hear about some real aspects of the SUV soon.

Just an update that anybody visiting there, should go only upon enquiry about the vehicle being there. As the rep informed me it is likely to be there on Mon and not in display this weekend.

They are kind of lucky that diesel prices being where they are and a lot of popular diesels also have long waiting lists. But Force can't afford 3 month waiting lists as at that point they have to compete against likes of Innova, Aria. At 1 month waiting, their product is very competitive

Agreed. However, I am sure they would have limited inventory that they might be getting from China. This has to be ramped up once they have a proper idea on the numbers generated in the first 2 months.

@Scorcher, Delhi bookings were 183 on Wednesday, .'. 190+ is realistic.

The vehicle delivery to Southern states are delayed due to some logistics issue. Vehicles are in transit right now. Can expect Display by Wednesday/Thursday next week.

Caught this one on pune NH4 - katraj to khed shivapur toll naka.
The driver took U turn at the toll naka.
Got very few secs to check the badge on the front grill.
i think it was nissan.

I think the SUV shown is Force One by Force motors. Must be undergoing final testings. A competition for the Mahindra Scorpio and Tata Safari.

That's the 'Force One' for sure. check out the rear glass section, and tail lamps. Its already launched too...

Yeah. Seeing the rear end, it looks very much like the Force One. But, I wonder why do they do such test rounds when the car is already launched? Is it the 4x4 version?? Were you able to spot any 4x4 badge??

That is definitely the Force One, the new SUV launched by Force Motors to compete with the top-end Safaris and Scorpios. Though it is launched already, one can easily see a lot of Force Ones being tested in and around Pune. 200 bookings is definitely possible. On paper, this is a very good option compared to the Scorpio/Safari. However, only time will tell if Force is able to deliver on the rest of the goods like after sales service, warranty, parts availability etc. Their past track record in this has not been good, so they will definitely have to swim against the tide on this one.

When a totally new product is launched, it is bound to get some bookings for novely value. However, the difficult part is to keep these numbers going. If Force plays their cards right, Safari & Scorpio are in for a fight.

If Force does commit to this product, I will definitely consider this as an option to replace my Scorpio 4WD after the 4WD and ABS/Air Bag version of Force One is out. I just hope they stick with the Manual 4WD Transfer case rather than the electric one.

My fear is that when you have not invested in tools and dies for a product and source it from china, it is very easy to abandon the product if it doesn't take off leaving you with a very expensive lemon on your hands.

Even though this product is an excellent value on paper, I would not take out my checkbook at least for another two years, unless I see a visible change in the attitude of this sleepy company.

It is Force One. Must be the 4x4 or those with airbags and disc brakes. Given the spoilers on top, is this one with a bigger output engine? I must be dreaming.
