Volvo on the whole deserve a lot more numbers.

XC60 is a wonderful vehicle and capable of garnering good numbers for Volvo.

It is Q3 that would be competing with X1. I for one am sure in the queue. I expect Q3 to be launched by mid 2012 going by media reports but could be earlier as well if Audi plays aggressive.

My bad, it is indeed Q3.

It will be good to see two germans fight in a relatively new segment after the launch of Q3 in India.

Is it possible to get the number's sold in different varient of etios ?

Would like to know as people here in the safety thread are all about manufacture providing safety features in base varient as an option and people would go for it ! If mood/sentiments are true then the G + safety varient should be the top selling varient in etios !

So how come the strike in plant affects the booking immediately? Do Maruti Dealers stopped bookings for Dzire in June due to the strike? Or Am I missing something fundamentally basic?
Even i find it really interesting that Dzire's numbers dropped by almost 2/3rd whereas plant shutdown due to strike was only for 15 days. If i assume model manufacturing distribution is same for any consecutive 15 days then the Dzire numbers should have dropped by half and not 2/3rd.

Plant strike was for 15 days and then there was a maintenance shut down for 1 week. So effectively 3 weeks of production lost

Strike + shutdown/maintenance + new Swift/Dzire

I have a vague feeling that the strike pre-empted the plans on the new Swift/Dzire.

I am longing to see Honda figures for the month of July.

BTW-Audi if fast catching up with MB on numbers,I am sure Audi will take a huge leap after the Q1 hits our shores.
