Its difficult for me to see a suitable product positioning for Ambassador. Indica rules the taxi segment - other higher segments are too competitive and HM stands no chance. Having new business plans is extremely tough for them now. However, 600 Ambys moving off the shelf with wopping 4L+ pricing for the lowest variant is unbelievable. I guess govt. is purchasing most of it.

Even all the foreign companies have made their place already. From TATA to Ford to VW - just all are placed in the market with strong plans and relevant success to talk about.

One question I would like to ask (deserves a poll )All Amby fans: Whats the USP of Amby that you see ? (Vintage?)

I have a strong feeling that if the old Land Master design (same sturdy build) is brought back with a state of art engine, latest comfort features,The AMBY will be back with a bang.
But am happy that the company is not giving up.
Hope its not another Zen - Zen Estilo story where the legacy of the former has been ruptured to core by the latter .

I think HM needs to indulge in some euthanasia.

Cannot fathom how or why they have dragged this model on for long
