Will watch out for that. The last time Bloomberg UTV reviewed the Swift couple of weeks ago, it was the UK version which we all know is different from the one that comes to India.

Great car but boot space is a big let down. But I think works for a small family of 2 + 2 kids. Any idea what does the two doors open in MID show? Does it mean door ajar warning and hope it includes all 4 doors? If that is so a thoughtful addition for family with kids. Waiting eagerly for Team BHP review.

Thanks for the pro active update GTO.

While there are so many reviews out there now, I wonder if any of them would be as detailed and unbiased as T-BHP, so I'm certain it'll be worth the wait.

So its confirmed that the rear seat is not split folding. Now, that's a small glitch, in terms of practicallity, especially when the boot is a bit smaller than the previous generation swift. But WHAT THE HECK Its the new improved swift afterall !

Hi all,
A friend in dealership got to see the car in flesh he received training on the car.
Additonal Features:

Ldi comes with:
Tilt Steering
Fuel Efficiency indicator

Vxi/Vdi variant comes with
Electronic ORVM controls
ORVM with Indicator
Integrated Remote Key
Audio System with USB

Zxi'Zdi comes with 15" alloys,
Rear Disk Brake

MSIL has reduced the gap between the Vxi and Zxi variants.

Wow GTO, now you are able to read our mind!!

Eagerly waiting for the detailed report. If possible request you to compare it with the old Swift. Many reviews claimed a bigger turbo lag in the new Swift in spite of the fact that there is no change of heart (referring to the Diesel). Critical question would be whether the new Swift is really a step ahead when compared to the old one.

IMO, your friend must have missed out many additions especially on the ZDi. Some of them I can think of are (over the VDi)

- Rear Wipe & wash
- Audio control on Steering wheel (possibly on VDi too)
- ACC
- ABS and Airbag

Presence of Rear disks is a very big claim your friend is making. Are you sure?

I have my doubts on the rear disk brakes as even the SX4 ZXi/ZDi comes with drums at the rear. But if it is true, kudos to MSIL. I guess MSIL is learning a thing or two from Hyundai.

Very nice review by the DWS guys.

MID, height adjustable driver's seat, tilt-adjustable steering, auto climate control, new ICE with USB,AUX integrated, folding rear seat- this is quite obviously a NEW Swift and folks apprehensive about paying more for this should relax.

My prediction is that this will blow away the underpowered i20 and 3-pot Polo from the market. Prepare for even longer waiting periods for the new Swift. Maybe MSIL should divert production from some of their other models and focus on this for a few months!

Rear Disk Brake in New Swift. I never heard that in any of the reviews or never seen there is a disc in rear on any of the pics. My be he may have got it wrong for the new Compact ABS system comes in the new Swift.
