Which Honda dealer did your father approach? Have you perhaps tried contacting another dealer? Apart from Whitefield Honda, there is Magnum and Dakshin Honda as well.

50k-100k is quite a huge ask, just for booking the car.

Agree with arkin. Was at Dakshin Honda to buy the Jazz, i was asked to pay 1 lakh as booking amount, plus the waiting time was a month!

Which dealer did you approach ?

IMO the body colored front grill and the tailgate spoiler are already available as OE for the Jazz X. Accessory kit should be different (body colored mud flaps, door scuff plates, sporty aluminum drilled pedals,etc.,), but still will not add up to the 8K asked by Honda.

There was only a news article about the new Jazz in 'The Hindu' , Chennai edition last friday. In fact I checked here after reading that. Strange considering the huge ads recently for Swift, Audi A4 etc.

There was a Half page ad in the navi mumbai edition of TOI declaring the ex showroom price of the base. Dunno about other cities. I think they have created enough buzz with the prices

OTR for Thane (outside octroi) is 6.78L(Individual) and 7.2L(Company) for the X variant. Just booked it!

In Gurgaon - the dealer says delivery in 2 months..:(

TD vehicle not available too and he said it should be available in a couple of days.

Did not get a quote though..

But Honda City he said I could take in 2 days!!
