Re: Nissan Sunny unveiled for the the Indian mid-size market.

Interiors looks good and high quality. The full-chrome door level is not to my taste, though. I would also have preferred a darker shade for the interiors. Looks very spacious. Under-thigh support in the rear seems to be on the lower side. From the pic with the rear door open, the door seems to open really wide, almost 90-degrees. However, from the same pic, the rear headroom might be a problem. The rear seat headrests are sure to impede with the view through the rear windshield, making the IRVM practically useless (as in the Fluidic Verna).

Re: Nissan Sunny unveiled for the the Indian mid-size market.

The reviewer did mention that Sunny will be launched with a petrol engine initially and diesel will follow it later on. The petrol engine is just about 100 bhp(IIR 98 BHP to be precise), since Nissan wanted to launch a frugal petrol engine rather than a powerful enthu engine.

The legroom as you all mentioned is terrific. The interior fit and finish is very good and the price expected is between 7-9 lacs ex-showroom. I belive the key to success for Nissan is what suhaas307 mentioned. Nissan needs a lot of dealerships and service centers to cater to customers in all cities. For instance, Pune has just one showroom/service center.

Re: Nissan Sunny unveiled for the the Indian mid-size market.

Spotted Nissan Sunny with stickers on Velachery Road chennai today.
I am wondering, after they have launched formally why are they still taping it.

BTW its a good idea to do the squeak and rattle test in Live broken road (i.e. Velachery road) than the test environment in factory.

Here are the pics, I must say the car does look very braod and spacious.

P.S. took the pic from my mobile camera, forgive me for bad quality.
