Thats right. Only the Fog lamps are back. However, there is currently no option to add Fogs to the TSI Ambiente models that were shipped with missing Fogs.

The dealers are feeding crap to the TSI owners when asked about the option to retrofit fogs. Some were told it would cost around 3 Lakhs to fit fogs with the wiring harness. Then I was told it may cost around 60K for the same. The point is no one knows how much it costs since they have not received any updates from Skoda on the availability of Laura Fogs as accessories.

Fogs for the Fiesta Classic cost Rs. 4000 including the swap of the circular switch with Fog position. - That's how it should be.

60K for fogs due to rewiring is absurd.

Fitting an after market sunroof on a car with it available as a factory option is not a great Idea. The Original Laura sunroof is nice and does not leak. - but it is too small for any one but kids to stand through and is placed a bit on the forward side rather than over the rear seat. A larger sunroof would have been more practical, and usable by all. Currently the driver kind off gets distracted by the roof over his head reflecting light from the sky.

What on earth is that?. VAG: Do you really justify the VRS tag by making this? This looks like a TSi with the RS body kit. You guys need a reality check and get things right.
This one, if priced wrong, id going to be a market dud for sure.

In a way, I am happy. I dont need to drool over this one. I might as well enjoy my TDI. If the need for 160 BHP does come up, Ill shift into the newly acquired Superb!

I am secretly hoping it would come to around 17-17.5L OTR in Blr. I could then try and convince wife to buy this instead of Cruze as she badly wants a Sunroof :( Considering Tsi Ambiente is selling for around 15.5 OTR in Blr, i am being a little optimistic though

Nope. No cooled glove-box either, although the front armrest box does have an ac vent.

But honestly, wasn't this the case with Octy RS as well?
The only difference between Octy TPi and Octy RS was suspension, interior cosmetics and body kit (including sun roof).

Engine was exactly the same and GC was ~130mm. Every Octy was low slung. Nothing specific to RS in that.

Low GC, low profile tyres and stiffer suspension can hugely improve the driving characteristics of any car (or boat, except for the Verna which has an absolutely ridiculous steering). So the only thing that may be missing this time is the lowering of the car which they may have not done (purely going by the test drive experience mentioned here). It will be interesting to know if that is true and what's the official reason behind it.

Yeah earlier the launch was to be held in Mumbai but due to constant heavy rainfalls, the venue was still in a mess. So they decided to delay land launch but instead came out with this unique method. We got the news around an hour ago from Skoda. Its good to be able to connect directly with experts while sitting at home.

I wish they brought over the undiluted version like they did for the Octy RS.. oh well. time to import a front clip of the RS and do a port.
