Tatas are for some reason pricing themselves out of the market. What happened to the value car pricing and more car per car funda.

Looks like there isn't any serious brainstorming going on in there on model / pricing / market /etc

TM's press release says that the wheel arches have been redesigned.

The pricing of the top most variant is close to one of the Manza trims.
The lower trims of Cs like Lx and Ls are still priced decently along with this 25kmpl tuned Powertrain.
Hope this where the taxi market is - The Ls and Lx.

The Taxi market will be satisfied with the LS and LX. They won't indulge in the extra goodies of the VX IMO. TM has launched the VX targeting the private owners by giving them a more 'exclusive' model,but i don't see many will go in for it when they have Manza for slight more money.

Good to know that they are able to improve the workhorse. As more CS are seen on the road, it is really important for the TaTa to compete in a segment where other biggies are yet to catch.

I think introducing eV2 is not only about taxi market but taking forward a popular model with minimal external changes and more powerful engine and BS 4 compliant. I have noticed that not only taxi operators but many of the general public buying eV2 s ( for that matter, even Indica was equally popular with middle class buyers, I mean, those who are not image conscious).
