if you've ever been to apollo hospital on bannerghatta road you would have seen the 410s (i think that's the model no) being used as ambulances.

Used as school vans for busing the kids of expatriate MB executives in Pune, circa 2006, I think....

it was about 11-13 lakhs when introduced, IIRC.

I had travelled in this van some 300 kms, as a rent car... some 8 years back i think... suspension was good but not up to the mark of a Merc... i think Toyota Hiace , is much much better compared to this... it will have a good market if introduced in India.... thats why TATA introduced Winger i guess....

I think it is the MB100. Had a ride once in one from the Poona airport to the Mercedes-Benz plant. I really cannot make comments on the quality because the van was used as a "junta" car and hence was in a very shabby condition. But definitely felt better than being in a Sumo or an Innova.

As for the Mercedes-Benz vans in Wockhart hospital in Bannerghatta Road (B'lore), I think tose are the Vitos.

This MB has been seen in Kollam for the past couple of months, checking out whom it belongs to. Its TN regn.
