LBM we are with you in this agony and i seriously hope and pray that you are able to teach these morons a big lesson. Its indeed pathetic and frustrating to see a customer go through such trauma and cheating. And the way the dealer and skoda has handled this case is utterly shameful to say the least.

The way the CRM deptt. of skoda has replied to your mails is again a disaster. Seems like the only CRM they do is defending themselves. Doesn't seem like skoda at all cares about customer service. Yes agreed that they make some wonderful cars, but thats only half of the job done. I don't think they take their business too seriously.

All the best with the legal process and i hope it comes out as a serious eye opener for the dealers and the skoda. And i hope you get proper justice!

LBM,its really sorry to read about your case. Skoda is hell bent on spoiling its name no matter how much we expect the reverse to happen. They may be building good cars but these car cars fail to survive even a few months and they do nothing to revive the 'dead' car. It's good that you have gone the legal way,it's time they start paying for their tricks. Please do keep updating your thread with all the latest developments.

Hi LBM,
I totally support your initiative and being a Skoda Owner myself (Yeti), I fully agree on the bad dealership and service experience that Giriraj motors, Gurgaon offers (I also bought it from them). They are very unprofessional and don't give a clear response to anything.
The sad part is that whenever we raise a query to Skoda for anything, we are always redirected to the same dealer for resolution, who doesn't care much for anything and is least interested in resolving customer issues.
It is high time that companies start taking accountability for their products and become much more stern and ruthless with their dealers in quality and service issues. It is because of dealers like these that Skoda has earned a bad name - don't they realize just how much it is destroying their reputation?

Do take up the matter seriously with court and also try with the media as the courts are notorious for delayed decisions and media may help bring a solution much faster as companies are wary of bad press more these days.

I know to whom these skodas belongs , thye are our family friends as well . I heard from someone there skoda are giving issue . My uncle also got his skoda Octavia engine seized , now he has switcjed over to jetta . God knows how these skoda cars are made . Damn .

This car is of my very close friend of mine. They is also my very close friend who has a Laura Tdi whose A/C is not working. One more whose Superb A/T gear shifting has some issues. Me along with them can go outside showrooms of Skoda and will call media people to investigate on this matter. Then SKODA will wake up. Like I said they have sold a wrong car to a very wrong person !!!![/quote]

From selling accident ridden vehicle to stealing genuine parts and replacing them with counterfeits, Skoda's dealer are doing it all and cheating their Customers, while the management keeps quiet and ditch its own customer's who put in their hard earned money on a Skoda Car in India.

Request you all to share it with everyone, so that it reaches the top people at Volkswagen and Skoda!!! Nothing hurts more to them then bad publicity.
Also, if anyone among your friends and relative are considering to buy a Skoda, show them these links.
A good product otherwise is being spoiled by the management and dealers highhandedness.

LBM, why dont you use the "insertions in newspaper" route? Print the relevant pictures on a colour pamphlet, narrate the evnet on the back, and ask the newspaper distributor in Gurgaon to insert the pamphlet in each copy of the Times that he delivers. A cheap way of reaching thousands of readers. but do check with your lawyers is this is the right approach as you have already sent a legal notice.
