Re: Honda City(ANHC) Facelift version Coming in 2 months

Infact there is nothing at all. I would wonder if Honda will undertake as a facelift project. Probably they are just changing the tail lamps for some other reason, post their price reduction (some cost cutting measure also). With no changes in interiors and only a small change in the tail lamp I don't think customer will even consider it a facelift.

Re: Honda City(ANHC) Facelift version to be Launched in 2 months

The Front Grill Finish is Crome , this might make it look a bit different from the current model, may look better too. but the new extension in back bumper just dosn't suit.

Hope they dont increase the price for just this.

Thanks for sharing ,

Regards
Ryan

Just to add, The facelift is likely to come much sooner than 2 months. My dealer told me they are ready to launch as soon as existing stocks are over. I expects a launch in less than a month.

@funkyp: The article and its contents were as of today. Even my dealer had mentioned that it would be out by the end of Sep way back in July. But, looking at this update, think it will be after 2 months as they are also getting ready to launch Brio by the month-end so they need a little breather to study Brio's response in the market before going ahead with the City facelift.

Thanks Manoj, I like the blue treatment for the meter console. It is better than the Orange they have currently. Also the MID is Black with white letters - more elegant, just like it was in the Jazz.

Thank god for the black interiors. Finally some companies believe that black / grey is way more practical than the so called "premium beige" !!

Actual pics of the new city.

I somehow don't like the rear tail lights and the bumper being black. It looks a bit out of place.

Thanks !

Look like they have introduced a new shade in red as the one in picture doesn't look like a habanero red.

On the facelift I will say that, we, the current Honda City owners need not to worry at all from this facelift as the changes are not worth for calling it a facelift.

Enjoy!

On second thought, i think this may be another strategy to bring minor change face-lift version and increase the price to pre-decreased (which is common with Honda).

Caught the same car 2 hrs back on the expressway.
Don't see the black thing on the bumper. May be its camouflaged with a white tape.

The car has UP registration number on a red number plate. Is this the Noida E-Way?

Also can anyone tell what's this red number plate is for? Like we have yellow for taxi.

Why are they still road testing it for such changes? To check if the new nose and new tail lamps are falling off? The blue console looks neat though.

Road testing for nose job and tail lamp redesign? that too, two of them! Sounds bizarre to me, unless there is something hidden in the hoot - a diet candy!

Ricky, the Thai version always had a black/ grey combination available for their top end version. The lower spec make do with a beige / black combo.

However, in India, Honda decided to give only 'premium beige'. I wish they do give the black / grey option for some colors atleast (like they used to do in the NHC - silver, black and white had the option of beige or grey and also the lower variant (EXI) only had the grey interiors)

Thanks Zoom_Vroom, the new red shade is like the Ruby Red that they had earlier. Looks classy, hope they dont replace this with the Habanero Red which in itself is one of the better colors on the ANHC.

I thought the same too and why would they want to do an ARAI session as well? is the engine in a different state of tune or are they giving cruise control / ACC? Would these changes necessitate a fresh ARAI approval?

Yes, the blue console does lend it a more cheerful look (especially as
seen in the video advert)
