Thank you for the post and the information Vinu. But isn't posting it at almost 3 in the afternoon a tad too late for it, for people who wished to be a part of this car-free day :D I already got my car to work and have no choice but to drive it back home.

Sorry guys. Even I came to know by noon only. Luckily today I came by Metro. :)
Those who cannot take part today can make it tomorrow.
Or can we organize
TeamBHP Car Free Day (TCFD). All team-bhp members will leave their car/bike at home and use public system or bicycle or just walk.

I have freed my car for last one week. I am on travel and my buddy is resting in his garage in Bangalore. He has to rest one more week. So, guys who have not followed Car Free Day due to late message, I have done on your behalf. lol:. Do not worry.

We celebrated our Car Free Day(s) on 17th and 19th of September, thanks to two consecutive hartals :D
I car pool to office, so for me 3 out of 4 days are anyway car free ! :D
I feel that car pooling on a regular basis is a much better option than observing a car free day once in an year. :)

I used my bike :) and my car wasnt moved . so i strictly followed it . Good me.
Belated celebrations for me! I hitcked a ride to office today. Car's parked home without the engine being fired up once clap:
