They are just calling it as 'Special discount' worth 65k and adding insurance worth 20k free. Free accessories were reverse parking sensors, luminar window tints and foot mats.

From what the OP has posted it seems that the AT has NO discounts.

Please check and let us know if possible.

re: Honda City price : Another 70,000 rupee discount

As mentioned, the discounts were there the whole of last month.
It depended on ur negotiation skills.
I saw a city about a month back and the sales girl kept calling me and lowering her (city's) price
In fact towards the end of sept the discounts were even more to compensate for the inauspicious period of shrad / pitrupaksh,
But I kept postponing as I wanted to see the new launches during the festive season before I decide.
A close friend bought the lowest version about a month back for 7.60 on road (vashi) with a few more freebies thrown in.

So what's the OTR price for the City S-MT in Bangalore? And is this offer till only Oct 5th or is it till they clear out the existing inventory.

What changes are expected in the facelifted version?
Tried calling one of the honda showrooms in mumbai, but I think they are shut today.

re: Honda City price : Another 70,000 rupee discount

A little birdie confirmed its a clearance sale.. Although its true that the discounts have been puring in, based on the nego skills. Its just formalized now.

But no news on the new model - nothing at all..

re: Honda City price : Another 70,000 rupee discount

It is the quick stock clearance discount for sure. I guess this is the golden opportunity to grab the City; Will confirm from my dealer if they are also offering similar discounts.

But it is quite interesting to note that Honda never gave such discounts in past. Competition is a good thing and Honda will learn to price their products correctly in future.

And for all the current Honda City owners - Please don't get sad because of the price drop/discount/facelift etc. Enjoy your car as much as possible.

Why do I feel that the facelifted version will have additional features like ACC and WILL (keeping fingers crossed) be priced very competitively (wishful thinking?)

I also think the same , if we look at the new jazz pricing after the clearance sale discount of 1.75 lakhs now retails at 6.1 lakhs (top model).

New city MMC coming November week 1. V grade to get optional sunroof. Automatic temperature control also "highly likely" to be added. NO further details available.

re: Honda City price : Another 70,000 rupee discount

I got fed up of waiting for Honda Jazz... I just upgraded my booking from Jazz X to City S.
On Road price for S in Bangalore is 9.2Lakhs.
On Road price for base E in Bangalore is 8.65Lakhs.

Freebies thrown in - reverse parking sensors and sun films.

re: Honda City price : Another 70,000 rupee discount

With only a petrol mill in their arsenal it stands to reason that Honda will have to price their facelifted version competitively. Recent price cuts on the City have also eroded its resale value considerably. A slew of recent launches by competition have put further pressure on Honda. All this points to a face lifted version at a price point that is lower than the outgoing one if they have to stay in the game. Don't we all love competition!

re: Honda City price : Another 70,000 rupee discount

I talked to the local dealer here in Bhopal. He is refusing any such discount. Only insurance free is what he is giving. ??
Has anybody booked the car under this scheme..?? If yes please let me know. My friend wants to book a City and need info. on this asap.

Thanks
