Re: Mahindra Verito Executive Edition launched

Mahindra might be using the Verito strategically to first develop mindshare with consumers to eventually feed into a possible in-house/new replacement. The Verito, after all, cant continue to soldier Mahindra's car segment for too many years into the future.

Re: Mahindra Verito Executive Edition launched

Having a 7 lac price tag for this car is like day dreaming!

It should be priced max at Rs 5.5 lacs for top model to sell more numbers, there too it won't do more than 1500-2000 per month.

Any one spending Rs 6 lacs on a sedan needs to fulfill his esteem needs as well and this design has no chance of doing that.

C'mon M&M change the paradigm and give it an all new shape which meets people's aspirations, it would be a great product.

Re: Mahindra Verito Executive Edition launched

Has anybody seen/ heard anything about this special edition?

'Executive Edition' was launched in October, but the dealers say that the car has not been officially launched for sales yet.

My friend has an August 2011 booking for Verito, which was converted to 'Executive edition' in October. But the dealers are trying to push ordinary D6 version even now, stating that the special edition variants havent reached showrooms yet, 2 months after launch.

He needs to take delivery in December itself. Now confused how to proceed with the booking.

I had seen the website LIVE with prices and details. Try calling up the customer care for more info. This is pretty strange that it still has NOT arrived in the showroom.

Yup. They are. I ve seen the spyshots doing rounds. It looks more of a notchback in that avatar rather than a complete CS. But Verito Exclusive at around Rs.8.5 lakhs OTR? Who buys a Verito for that high a price?

You just replied to a more than 1-yr old post, when Mahindra launched the last year's executive edition.

They seem to have included the blackened B-pillars and part of rear door frame that was observed in the Verito hatch/CS spy shots in the Executive Edition. Same with the alloy designs too.

Ofcourse. That's why it's titled as 2013. And there are updated addons too. Got sportier except for that confused grill.

Sorry, didn't notice the change in the post title.

Any idea how much a 2-DIN touch screen Multimedia interface with bluetooth and navigation support would cost versus the separate 2-DIN bluetooth music system and a touch screen navigation that they are currently offering in the executive edition? It would have been better to give a single unit with all the features, especially when Tata provides them in Vista and Manza top end versions.
