- Nissan launches the limited ed X-trail & announces the ‘X-Treme Trail’, an adventure reality show by National Geographic Channel.

- The 6 part series, premiering on November 5, will be telecasted simultaneously on National Geographic Channel, Fox Traveller, Star World and Channel V. The entire series was shot over a period of 32 days.

- Nissan X-treme Trail Limited Edition is priced at INR 22,78,928 (Ex-Mumbai)

- Some of the new features:

• Rear Scuff Plate
• Kicking Plate with LED
• Door Visor Set
• Body Side Moulding
• X-treme Trail Decal

I was expecting an integrated navigation system. But looks like, even Nisaan has gone the Map My India way. No complains :)
The cargo drawer looks useful but doesn't seem durable. Anyways, Lets hope they can attract a little more people now.

Have they lowered the prices for this? I thought X-trail was retailing for around 24L sometime back! The show premiers tomorrow & am looking forward for that. I have no idea how did they select these guys. Read somewhere that they were selected from 200 odd contestants after putting them thru some tasks.

Now was there a downward price revision? How come the X-Trail costs just 22 odd lakhs? Isnt it a CBU?

When did Nissan undertake this price correction? Last i heard, the X-TRail was retailing for around the 25L ex-showroom mark in Delhi. Maybe this a basic version with an add-on satnav?

Is this the base model with add-ons ? Or stripped little more or a 2wd ? Price is lower as you guys pointed out.
