Re: Chevrolet's all-new TrailBlazer SUV debuts!

Is it just me, or does the vehicle look really gross? I mean, after looking at a Chevy Suburban, one wouldn't imagine seeing this box of a vehicle from Chevy. I don't intend to be sarcastic, but the hatch looks like a Dzire-job - just attached to a pickup-truck or something.

Re: Chevrolet's all-new TrailBlazer SUV debuts!

Now if Chevrolet could launch this in India a notch above the Captiva, they'd do very good! All they need to do is bring this here in CKD form and assemble it, and even try and localize some parts to keep costs down.

I think it looks absolutely brilliant. The stance is wonderful and the proportions are spot-on. And going by how Chevrolet converts concept cars into production cars without much change, expect this new SUV to look 90% like this when it hits production. And if spares are good and Chevy after-sales-service improves, it could create problems for the Toyota Fortuner, that seems to be ruling the roost at the moment.

But I have a feeling that this car won't make it to the Indian market. It doesn't look like it's meant for our market, anyway.

What is there answer for the compact x-over?
What do they have to offer in that range?

I hope it is priced around 15L... Then it would be a reasonably priced product. If not, they need to bring in an SUV that seats 7-8 comfortably which can be priced around that range.

Don't know if this will make it to India, but if it does then it needs to come in the 15-20L range itself. Not likely with the Captiva around. The Captiva is already feeling the heat and without a major price change it will be all down hill for them. I really don't see people lapping this up at around 30L OTR and with the captiva around anything less than 24L OTR seems hard.

Dont think it will come to India. They wouldn't sell at big numbers and Chevy cant have too many cars with most of them running at the bottom numbers.

That is one big truck from Chevy. It looks good, but a bit overdone for me.

This picture looks like a dog with a bone in its mouth

Hahahahaha Hey come on! Its not that bad! I personally loved its looks and its interiors. Hope they get it to India. Santa Fe and Fortuner will have serious competition.

Re: Chevrolet's all-new TrailBlazer SUV debuts!

Definitely a looker, but I'm sure Chevy will give the concept car bits a miss, hence rendering it a bit dull. But still,it'll be immensely more interesting than the boring Captiva,at least.

Looks wonderful and the same size as Tfort. Priced sensibly with a good diesel under the hood this should do well in India.

Re: Chevrolet's all-new TrailBlazer SUV debuts!

This one's based on the Colorado truck. Will do well for sure in the ASEAN markets. Lets see if this makes it to our shores. this can do well in our market if priced along with Fortuner but the nthis means Captiva has to come down and compete with XUV or Aria.
