I just want to know which car would you prefer out of the two.

I dont want to know which car is better or which car is faster and i dont want any fight. I just want to know what would be your pick out of the two.

The Honda City VTEC cuz its got the looks and the performance...

For a weekend car just to take out and rip, the Vtec. For a daily drive, it's gotta be the Baleno.

Both would be nice, though!

check out the Turbo City 1.5 in tbhp. It was a drool machine even if it wasnt a vtec.

Why not the NHC VTEC? Old one is dead.

I'm starting to like the NHC VTEC, its faster of the 2, better low end than the old one and the ZX body is much better looking.

Suspension sucks in both cars.

Infact even the 1.5 OHC is anyday better than the baleno.
i can never ever think of comparing the two.

FOR-Engine,Refinement,Looks,Brakes,FE,Technology,Quality,Brand,Resale,Razor sharp Handling,Transmission,neat looking tacho,safety(better crumple zones),colors,etc.

The only two things that i dont like about the OHC are
1.Seats-could have been better,u just don't sink into them(lower back painz during long drives :(.
2.On the lighter side.

By faster I mean, NHC ZX VTEC has a faster 0-100 timing than Baleno.(10.6 vs 11.2 approx) Not sure about top speeds.

But OHC VTEC is the quickest of all three.(10 flat?)

that first post of yours on this thread got me wondering when i was just about to hit the sac.
like me, i guess even v1p3r thought that you meant to say the zx vtec is faster than the ohc vtec and better looking as well when compared to the ohc , but its all clear now.

a couple of weeks back i did outrun a zx vtec from a red light in my ohc 1.5, can anyone please put up 0-100 timings of all the four cars in stock form, ohc 1.5, ohc 1.5 vtec, baenlo and the city zx vtec

between the ohc and baleno i was utterly confused 6 months back, and buying the 1.5 ohc hasn't really helped the problem till date. was always a baleno fan, and after joining team-bhp, thanks to shantanu, g.t.o and a few others i got inclined to the ohc as well

According to Overdrive:
Baleno: 12.8secs
1.5EXI: 12.3secs
Zx Vtec: 11.5(slightly unsure)
OHC Vtec: 9.9secs.
