The car in the first photo looks nice, much better than the current Linea in my opinion. In fact, stick an Alfa grill on it and it would not look out of place. The current Linea is a little too plain from the front with gaping kind of head lights - fairly ugly to look at. The best part about it is definitely the rear, but that too is quite similar to the first generation (Jaguar type) Sonata that we saw.

SRK, I have taken liberty to put my idea on the Linea grill design on top of your cut. This design takes away the resemblance to Verna grill and to me it looks very good.

Even I was thinking why would FIAT actually put it up, when they could have easily placed it at the center and provide a smoother look to the grill.

Linea has some really great clean lines, its still a very good looking car.

They've only changed the grill and bumper, and still managed to make the car so ugly!
Excessive and inappropriate use of chrome.

What a waste of a facelift. Looks like they have been inspired by the Verna to Verna Transform facelift. Italians going the Korean way

What in their mind were FIAT thinking when they did this to an already beautiful car. Looks & styling were the +ve points of LINEA and they ave gone for a toss now. Look at the grill & the bumper. This should be an example of a case study on what not to do in styling.

PS: the grill outline somehow reminds me of the esteem grill contours

It is reminding me more of the old Verna. This is a huge disappointing design from Fiat. Look at the new Font used for the Linea. What the heck is that?

looks a bit like the old corolla. The fish face front seems to have been done away with, from one angle is looks like a bloated Chevy Magnum (Petrol). But I like it now more, get a little more serious look, but then this is my opinion.

Oh no.. quite a bit of old Suzuki-type of styling. Retro styling gone bad.

Hope they make it more presentable by the time it get launched here.

I think all Fiatians and everybody who has a thing or two for Fiat on our forum, should send a list of signatures to Fiat India that will convince the Italians not to launch this horrible backward design "upgrade" linea.

I couldn't bear the sight of this weird design, more like a korean-china design language on the front grill. Where's the all italian flair gone?

We can't predict anything at this point of time. For India, they may have different plans. Also, remember that 1.3 Duallogic and 1.6 MJD is available in Turkey market.
