Voted for the Passat. Not in recent times have i caught myself gawking at any car other than the new Passat.Lovely chunky lines, those beautiful "Atlanta" alloys, the DRLs,a very handsome car.

Have voted for XUV, great work by Mahindra, although EON has changed perception of small cars, would have loved to see a bigger engine to match the looks, aka 1.1 to take care of highway drives & a diesel similar sized version to compete with BEAT.

A revamped Cruze was launched in 2011, just like the new Swift.
I would have voted for the Cruze if it had been in the list. For now it is the new Skoda Rapid, because affordable quality does matter.

Only all new cars launched in the year are included in COTY. New Swift is not a refreshed facelifted car, it is an all new car. Mere change of Interior color or minor tweak to ECU does not qualify it as an all new car, even after the major 2012 upgrade Cruze will not qualify for next year's COTY.

Voted for the Mahindra XUV5OO, an absolute rave! Unfortunately, I still haven't heard of a launch date for the Kolkata Market. This is very disappointing.

Voted for the Skoda Rapid.
Out of all the new cars that have hit the market, the Rapid 1.6D is the only one that I could see myself buying and using. The Passat was a close second, were it not for the similar interiors and price. The XUV too was a contender, and would have almost been my choice, except that the design and interiors did not impress me - the features, specs, and ride and handling did however.

Voted for XUV its one of the best VFM Indian launch. Though it could have better cleaner lines.

No 'group think' in play here. Voted for XUV5oo as it's going to be my next vehicle whenever I decide to chuck my Scorpio VLX.

Way to Mahindra!

Just thinking – if Tata had a similar smart pricing for the Aria last year, it would have garnered a response similar to what XUV is getting now. Talk about missed opportunity!

I voted for Renault Fluence.

Reasons: Gorgeous styling, a reasonably economical diesel engine and most important - The new benchmark in ride and handling.

Natural choice should be XUV but I voted for Jetta. Fell in love with that car during official test drive.

BHP COTY 2011 has to be XUV500. Nothing in the recent past has captured the imagination of the Indian Auto world. If there was an option for a second and third best cars, it would be the Rapid and Brio.

Voted for the Swift. Nothing beats the smile value of this car, and it brings an even bigger smile to the driver now!
