I got an offer of 8.9L for Honda City SMT including Honda Assure + road tax from Pride Honda in Hyderabad. After a lot of negotiations, they offered 3M film & reverse parking sensors.

Is this a decent deal?

re: The "NEW" Car Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & Deals

I got an offer for City 1.5 V AT for 10.26 L in Bangalore. The agent was willing to give reverse parking sensore, rubber floor mats and 3M tinting for free. I asked him for leather upholstery and he declined. On inquiring about Caska HU he offered it at a price of 52K.

Is this a good deal? In July I had got quotation for the same vehicle from Pride HONDA Hyderabad (I moved to Bangalore 6 weeks ago) for 10.5Lakhs.

So factoring in the Bangalore road tax and all I feel this is a good deal.

ALso one of my colleague who is shopping as well, is interested (if he can get over his Linea TJET craving). DO you guys think I can bargain for a group discount?

Thanks.

p.s: I test drove a Vento TDI Highline and was disappointed. Also test drove an XUV 500. But before I could make my decision (waiting for T-BHP verdict) the bookings have been closed. Bummer!!

in my opinion no , in Delhi i have offers on the VMT for 9 OTR - nothing else beyond that , and limited choice of colors but 9 nevertheless.

I have been seeing ads of Nissan Micra starting at 3.6L. Isn't that a terrific pricing even for a base version?

If that is the price for XE, that would be ex-Delhi. Bombay and Thane would be 3.8 ex-showroom which would translate to 4.25 OTR. The base variant would have power steering and driver airbag. It is value if you consider the Eon Sportz OTR of 4.30ish. The Dual-din ICE, power windows, central locking and slightly better interior trim is all the Eon offers more, while the Micra offers relatively much better space and more powered engine.

Also in contention could be i10 Magna @ 4.50ish post discounts and Brio E @ 4.67 though both lack safety features.

Hey Integra, from which show room did you get this quotation? Does it include EXt Warranty + RSA? Can you please give a break-up?

I am also looking for a sedan. Trying to decide among City AT, Vento AT and Vento TDI.

Whitefield Honda!

I wanted my next car to be an automatic and a diesel. However cant find anything in my budget of 12 lakhs. I can't wait 6 months for the new Verna.

I am trying to decide between a Honda city AT, Vento Tdi and a XUV 500...yup XUV 500.

Never tried Vento AT.

re: The "NEW" Car Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & Deals

I cant recall the difference in road tax between Delhi and Bangalore off the top of my head right now but in case this helps you , i have an offer for the city automatic here in Delhi which works out to 9.65 OTR - this is over a phone call and i am sure another 10,000 off would not be difficult to manage if i do go to the showroom.

Thanks, Integra.
Even I have the same issue, wants a Diesel Auto, but could not find one in my budget. So it will be the Vento TDI or one of other two ATs.
