Around 1.0-1.5 lac off the ex showroom price with in house insurance. Haggle hard and you will get it.

Discount upto 1.5L are given, but remember all petrol Laura's are from 2011 across India.
If you push hard 2L discount is not difficult with corp discount.

I can certainly help with better deal if someone is looking in Mumbai.

I thought Skoda has just increased the prices, including petrol Laura. Are you sure they will start giving discounts immediately?

Discount still continue for 2011 models. Not sure of 2012 models with this price hike, but in past Skoda dealers had discount schemes going even after price hike.

Petrol sales (specially Honda sales) have been down and this is the best time to squeeze out the best deals. All the best.

I have tried to bargain in everyway possible . There are two dealers in Kolkata and neither of them aren't willing to exclude even for the handling charges (rs. 3500). Infact they will not even provide accessories !! Seems that they find takers for petrol models still in Kolkata.

The final quotation for Brio S(O) MT is coming to 5,21,000 Otr which includes 20k cash discount and extended warranty but not RSA and 3m paint and underbody.

Guys I booked an I20 Asta from KTC Calicut, Kerala.

8.4L on the road. Am planning to take it to Bangalore. Waiting period of 25 days is what's told.

Vishal, not so sure about those figures anymore. My cousin recently inquired with a couple of Skoda dealerships for the Laura and while no one professed to a discount in the range of a Lac upfront, I believe you can still come pretty close sitting across the table. Provided you can get your hands on the few remaining 2011 petrol cars which for obvious reasons, Skoda has mandated have to be cleared out at the earliest. You may need to move quickly on it if that's what you're cool with.

IIRC, two leading dealerships here claimed that the 2011 inventory is sold out. On the 2012 petrol cars, the discounts offered are in the range of 30-40K here in Mumbai. If you press hard, you'll be able to extract some savings on "Skoda Shield" too - Skoda's own extended warranty program - which is highly recommended anyway.

I'll be really surprised if petrol is available with such low discounts even if it is 2012 models. When I spoke to dealer in Mumbai few weeks back even diesel Laura and Yeti had discounts from 70k to 1L on 2012 models.

According to that some points are to be noted before anyone want to buy this SUV.

1) XUV500 Field Evaluation Units (FEU) vehicles only
2) These vehicles were produced in the FEU batch, immediately prior to start of production.
3) These vehicles were made for testing and may have run approx 500 to 2000 kms.

As per above points these are used car. made for testing.

4) IMPORTANT: Please note that all vehicles are available on an ‘AS IS WHERE IS’ basis, which means the vehicles will be sold in the condition in which they are currently.

Check carwale for on road car prices. You haven't mentioned whether you are looking out for the Punto or the Linea! Last month Punto had a Insurance free scheme. Don't know about latest offers.
