In Mumbai too my friend has got a waiting of around 4 months.... Clearly Honda was unprepared for such numbers.... Apparently they have a capacity of 10-11k per month out of which around 6-7k has been allotted to amaze. Amaze can give a tougher fight to dzire if it had not been for Honda's 10k monthly capacity.

I saw advertisements in Chennai newspaper a few days back for XUV 500 and Swift. Not aware of anything on Duster & Amaze.

XUV 500 - Available at an EMI of Rs 14,999/- for first year with Rs 15,000/- off exchange or loyalty bonus

The alto 800 LXI has a discount of 53000 now! And thats even without negotiations.
30000 cash discount, 3000 corporate discount, 20000 exchange bonus. On road comes to 3.58 without including exchange bonus. I think thats great VFM.

Toyota Bharat website shows up to 35,000 INR discount on Innova for the whole India. It will be available for Mumbai as well. Apart from this if you bargain hard dealers may also be ready to forego some of their profit to clear inventory. I am attaching a picture from the toyotabharat website.

I don't know about any discounts on XUV.

Is there any special discount if one works is a government employee?

I'll be going to check the discounts on diesel Figo tomorrow, let's see how much I can extract from them.

Which dealer is still having 2011v? I may go for impulse buy if the discount is on the price of the car at those time since the prices of Nano have silently increased in a not-so-nano way and the discount of 25K on current price may simply mean no reduction at all.

In Mumbai, its 2.29 lacs for the 2012 ambient MT. Not sure but think its about 75k for the 2013 VIN numbers
