There is no breakdown. It is plain cash discount. The deal has been finalised for Rs. 10.75L including handling charges, temporary registration, 2 years extended warranty and road site assistance. Insurance (0% dep) is going to cost another 32k + the road tax for Uttarakhand where the car will be taken for permanent registration.

The Duster 4x4 was being offered at an ex-showroom price of 11.2L after discount.

Can anyone help with some info on year end discounts on the Fortuner? I'm looking at buying the AT in Mumbai and was wondering if Toyota is offering anything special to end the year and ensure minimal sales for the recently launched Pajero Sport AT

I would not really bank on the same. The vehicle has a waiting period consistently since the time of its launch. So don't expect any discount whatsoever. At best, get your insurance done from outside where the quotes are considerably lower than what the dealerships ask for.

Recently booked a White Hyundai Verna CX 1.4 at Vinayak Hyundai, Tambaram, Chennai.

OTR being 9,57,900, hyundai offers a discount of Rs 10,000, the dealer gave an extra discount of 15,000 (12,000 + 3,000 Corporate Discount), and a seat cover worth Rs 12,500

Comes down to an OTR 932900.

re: The "NEW" Car Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & Deals

In line with the 'Diesel for the price of a petrol' offer from Renault, I am getting the following quote from TVS Renault, Thrissur Kerala dealer.

Variant: Pulse RXL with ABS
EX showroom: 636000
Insurance(Bumper to Bumper): 51280
Road Tax and Regn:24367
Handling:8800

Total: 720447
Discount:116300

Onroad: 604147

Note: These are the offers without any negotiation whatsoever and merely a phone call.

I was under the assumption that the discount is on the Ex Showrrom Price of the car (Mentioned as 5,19,000 for RXL variant) which would bring down the Road tax too.
Can anyone confirm on this? And also if I should be looking at more discounts.

Insurance cost is really high. I suggest you enquire with insurance companies directly.

Insurence quote is very very high. It should be within Rs. 20000. Get insurence from outside, the dealer is trying to make huge profits.

.
Is there a chance you might have mistook the insurance for road tax and vice versa? Because that would make more sense unless the road tax in kerala is around 5%.

Thanks bro. I stand corrected, again.

But insurgence my friend, shouldn't that come from within?
