Offer on VW Polo 1.2 (P) CL

Folks,

I'm in the market for a hatchback and have finalised a polo 1.2 CL. Based on my discussions with the dealers in NCR, I'm getting the following deal on a white polo:

Cash discount: 43,000
Freebies: Mat + Mud Flap + Loose Seat Cover + Car Cover

I'm not sure if this is a good deal, at this time of year or if I should look for more?

Look forward to some suggestions!

Thanks

Someone in this very thread had mentioned 60k approx discounts on the Polo diesel. Try to extract few more. However are you still sure on the petrol Polo which has poor resale, poor FE, expensive services, engine which is least ranked in its segment. You may want to wait for the Figo hatch if anything currently does not excite enough.

@dipen,

Well, this is exactly the feedback that I got when I first started reading up team-bhp threads on polo. And based on that, I almost took it out from my top three (swift, polo, jazz...i liked the older i20 more )

However, I also found some good feedback, especially for the face lifted polo launched last year. All in all, there's been mixed reviews on FE, services and the engine quality of the petrol variant. Given the relaunched Jazz did not really excite me, I opted to go with Polo (Swift being too common).

I'll definitely try for more on the current offer. And I guess I'll need some more insight on this, time to post on the polo thread.

Thanks

Any changes to offers on the Duster post the Creta launch? The earlier July offers were only supposed to be till 20 July and the Renault website is not listing any offers currently for the Duster

Hi lordvader,
Just few days back, I have booked VW Polo 1.5 TDi Highline and I got the following deal in Pune:
  1. Cash Discount of 50,000/-
  2. Exchange bonus of 10,000/-
  3. Free standard accessories, consisting of mats and mud flaps
  4. Zero Dep Insurance at the cost of comprehensive insurance.

In addition to above mentioned deal, you can also get corporate discount of around 3400/-, if your company is listed with VW. I feel there is still some room for negotiation and you should definitely push for some more discounts.

Drive Safe!

Hyundai India announces price hike of upto ₹.30,000 from Aug 1, Creta remains unaffected.

Hyundai, that launched the Creta in India this week, today announced a price hike of up to Rs. 30,000. To come in effect from August 1, 2015, the increase in prices affects all models across its line-up in the country with the sole exception of the Creta.

Mr Rakesh Srivastava, Senior Vice President - Sales and Marketing, Hyundai Motor India Ltd., said,
Quote:
"The price increase has been necessitated by increase of input costs. We have been absorbing most of the costs but now we are constrained to consider the price increase in these challenging market environment."
The slow-moving sales in recent times have lead car makers in India to offer increased discounts in order pursue buyers. This, in turn, continues to heave pressure on car makers as they aim at bigger share of the market. It remains to be seen if Hyundai's price hike causes other manufacturers to follow suit.

I think you meant A3 for 22.23L. So I don't think there is any catch here. Looks like expected discount.
Here is the advertisement you are referring to:

It looks like Mahindra has taken Hyundai Creta as a serious competition and launched the automatic version of Scorpio. Available in the top trim S10 both in 2wd as well as in 4wd mode.Link to the launch story: http://m.timesofindia.com/business/i...n=timesofindia

The "NEW" Car Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & D...

Currently booked a VW Polo GT TSI. Dealer has offered mud flaps, car seat covers, window visor, mats free.

Zero depreciation insurance at cost of normal insurance.

Cash discount of rs. 7000.

No loyalty bonus for GT he says and still waiting for clearance in corporate discount of Rs. 3000.

Any suggestions on what else I can wrangle out of the guy?

This is booked in VW Noida. Almost similar deal in VW Gurgaon.

Checked out the Mahindra Quanto yesterday. There are discounts between Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 75,000/- depending on the model as they want to clear old stocks. They are waiting for the new and refreshed Quanto including the one with the AMT.
