That's some nonsense. The price is displayed in the website which means it's applicable for all the purchases happening NOW!!
You could ask the dealer to show the fine print where its written the price is applicable onltwfor 2015 models.
Well I was shocked myself to hear that the revised prices are still for 2015. When asked about delivery he said these 1.6 cars are only on order. So total confusion created by salesman. Will have to check more dealers now as its going around in circles only without a concrete offer on table .
What discounts can I expect on the Linea Classic 2015 model? The ex showroom price is rs 7,40,000. The dealer agreed to give it to me at Rs 7,50,000 on road. Is it good or should I push for more discounts?

Hey
I'm getting a discount of 69,000 on the VW Polo Highline 2015.
I think I can squeeze the dealer till 75k
The price ends up at 6.60 for the Polo
While I've booked a Baleno Delta which I'll be allotted in March which costs me 6.50
Which one should I go for ?

Depends on your needs actually.
The Polo reeks quality inside out and has got a 4 star safety rating in the Global NCAP, but is a let down with that 3 pot Petrol engine and a 7 year old design.
Baleno on the other hand is fresh, and has a much better engine inside. It will also have better gadgets but the quality is still not there yet as compared to the Polo.
Maruti would also be cheaper on your pockets.
Both are good cars.

Hey all,
Need bit of a help here. I am looking for a car and have decided on Polo after taking the test drives of nearly all the direct competitors in the market.
I am 90% sure that I'll get Polo. Now when I had a word with the dealer, he said that the new Polo Comfortline will cost me around Rs. 7.2 lakhs OTR in Hyderabad, while he has a December 2015 manufactured model which I can have for Rs. 6.6 lakhs (leading to savings of Rs. 60,000). According to him and the reviews which I have read, the changes have been made only in the top-end Highline varient and all the other varients remain same.
What should I do in this case, which one should I go for? Any help will be appretiated. |
Hi Amit
Try to squeeze your dealer.
I'm getting a December 2015 Polo Petrol Highline for 6.6 OTR

Polo:
+ves: Safe, chic
-ves: Low seating, old tech, high maintenance costs, and lower resale (+2015)
Baleno:
+ves: Modern, trouble free, roomy
-ves: Not as revvy as Polo
If I were you I would still be confused and will decide based on how safe in Baleno, which I do not know now. If it's as safe as Polo I would go for Baleno, else will take Polo

I'm driving the 1.5L Diesel Vento with DSG, and Polo comes nowhere near it.
The 3 cylinder engine doesn't inspire confidence either.
I'm sure VW is churning up a 4 cyclinder 1.2L engine.
Don't want to be stuck with a 3-cylinder model then. :/

Hi Team,
What kind of offers are currently going on Hyundai Grand i10 Asta (O) Petrol?
I checked with the Pune dealer and was told 17,000/- Cash Discount, 3rd year extended warranty free for 2016 models. There is an additional 10,000/-discount for 2015 models with very limited stock available.
Kindly let me know if there is any more room for negotiation,as I'm looking to book the car in a week or so.
Regards,
CPJ
Looking to buy the 2016 Vento TSI DSG in Pune. What insurance deals and discounts should I be getting if any?
Hi folks,
Am buying a Polo 1.2 TSI grey next couple of weeks in Bangalore. What discounts can I negotiate with the dealer? Does it make sense to go for 2015 model without rain sensing wipers and touch screen or should I just go the whole hog and buy the 2016 model? Dealer has quoted 11 Lakhs on road. I'm waiting for the break up. I wish the auto box wasn't a requirement. At that price, the Punto Abarth seems so inviting! But still, if I can convince my wife to take the Jetta AT off my hands for her non peak hour city driving, I'll very happily drive the polo automatic for my 50 km a day commute :D
Check out figo aspire 2015. Registration and insurance with 3rd warranty as freebies so ex showroom = on road which is a great deal specially on diesel and automatic.

11L for the 2015 or the 2016 model? Maybe wait for the FY closure time and discounts may come. I also recommend looking at the Figo Aspire.

That is indeed a great price, but one of our requirements is Petrol. Most of our other cars are diesel and we are quite tired of the engine noise and vibrations. Thanks for the heads up!

The price is for 2016 model. Any idea what kind of year end discounts one might expect? I take it there are no discounts to be had right now?
