The RC says Mfg year as 01/20202

Has anybody got an idea about deals on petrol Baleno, Swift, and, i10 nios?

It is surprising how closely MSIL has priced Baleno and Swift. Petrol manual top-end variants of both are within a few thousands of each other (on-paper pricing).

Not sure what to make of it - Is the Baleno competitively priced, or the Swift atrociously priced?

Octavia Petrol is sold out in Blr as far as i know. Around 4L off on TDI L&K

Anyone got a Jeep Compass Limited Plus 4x4 Dec 2019 quote recently. This the BS4 manual version.

Dealer is offering 1. 3 L cash discount. On road in Bangalore is working out to 27.44 L.

Is this worth considering.

1.3L is too little a discount considering that the model has not one, but 2 big reasons for being at a heavy discount:
1. Standard decent discountibg due to previous year manufacturing date.
2. More importantly, unregister-able liability for the dealer in a matter of about 45 days.

Discount of <5% is frankly, pathetic. Let's not forget that the Compass isn't selling anywhere near as well as it used to.

It's a great car for those that like its strengths. If you really want one, push hard for more! At least 10%. Though a Tucson BSIV, if still available, would be the better buy IMO. Even I love the Compass and its strengths to death, but despite hating everything Hyundai stands for (appliances more than cars, if I were to generalise for the sake of brevity), a discounted AWD top-end Tucson (even at heavy discount due to the same reasons as above, it will have only just come down to appropriate pricing) as a package is so compelling, I'd pick one up over the soulful Compass.
