Even though I'm not sure, I believe once you've booked the car by finalizing on the price, there should be no change since your initial billing date was on the 20th September. Others, please clarify.

I guess the companies consider the date of delivery and not the date of booking.
When I booked my Baleno, I booked it in the month of Feb and delivered in June, there was a price increase of ~2-3k which I had to pay as the company considers the date of delivery for the price and not the booking date.

Thanks Puneet. Agree its a great car but changed my mind to look at GLC by the year-end. Sedans are an issue with massive speed breakers in Bengaluru and with Metro work slated to start from silk board to KR Puram in December, sedans will be difficult to live with.

Re: The "NEW" Car Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & Deals

Guys any idea on discounts on the Toyota Yaris as of Spetember / October 2020.

Looking at the Yaris J MT or Tata Altroz diesel (no discounts there ).Have been offered just 20,000 in discounts with further discounts once if we are interested in buying.
The crazy discounts of 1.5-3 L does not exist now .

What is the discount I can realistically push for ? Anyone looking for a Yaris now or purchased it recently?

The link below mentions total discounts worth 60,000 for Sept 2020

https://www.91wheels.com/news/toyota...2020-discounts

However, like your dealer informed you, they will offer you the most discount only once you’re seriously considering the car & ready to make a booking. Gone are the days of crazy discounts like during last year.

Hello BHPians, my relative is in the market looking for his first ever car and he is keen on Tata Nexon XM petrol variant. The dealer close to his home (Ballad motors, Bellary) is not offering any discounts and phone calls to few Bangalore dealerships also revealed that there are no offers for Nexon. Is that true? Can someone who has brought Nexon recently in Karnataka please share the pricing and the discounts you got? Thanks in advance.

BMW India announces price hike of up to 3% on BMW and Mini cars from November 1. Price hike is applicable on both locally assembled completely knocked down (CKD) products as well as on completely built units (CBUs) or imported models.

Any revision in price will apply to all the booked vehicles. Price of the car is always the price during delivery. While your negotiated discounts may still hold but such discount will be applied on new price and not on old price

Re: The "NEW" Car Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & Deals

Hello,

I am planning to buy either a Skoda Rapid Rider Plus MT or Volkswagen Polo Highline Plus MT in two months. Still not decided on which. I have taken a test drive of the Rapid & I am in love with the car. Unfortunately, every time I visit VW, they do not have a Polo MT for a test drive.

Following is the quote shared to me by Mahavir Skoda in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.

I have read so many threads about Depot Charges / Logistics / Stockyard Charges etc, which were deemed illegal by a court (not sure which one), after many fights as far as I remember. In this case they are asking for ₹7,500.

Other than this, what else could I ask a discount on?

I am adamant at getting the 5th, 6th year extended warranty (₹30,975), as suggested by Team BHP's elite. I would also like to go ahead with the Skoda Maintenance Package Standard (₹29,999). Also, what is the difference between Standard, Enhanced & Comprehensive? I have forgotten to ask the Sales Representative. Please share if anyone knows about them.

Thank you,

I am looking to trade my 3 series for a X3. Talking to the BMW sales advisor whom I dealt with while buying my 3 series, I got to know that the current offer for existing customers is about 5L off of the OTR price. Anyone know of better deals? Thanks in advance.

Re: The "NEW" Car Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & Deals

Apologies if not the correct thread, but does anyone have an idea on the latest discounts on the X5 40i M sport? Test drove the GLE450, Macan and X5 40i yesterday and heart seems to tilting towards it.
I’ve been quoted the usual 4-5 L which I might be able to extend by a lakh or two at max it seems, any inputs ?

The turbo-petrol versions of the Duster, can be had with up to Rs 20,000 as a loyalty bonus and Rs 30,000 off as a corporate discount. Dealers are even offering Renault’s ‘Easy Care’–3 years/50,000km package to existing Duster owners.

Re: The "NEW" Car Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & Deals

A friend is looking to buy the Nexon XZA+ petrol in Pune. He's being offered 20k cash discount and nothing else. Also being quoted 8 weeks waiting for the car.
Is this the only discount being offered currently or is there scope for more discounts?
