BMW has also deleted a lot of features from their current models - dropped laser lights from 530i, dropped 360 Deg camera, gesture control, comfort access from 330Li Msport. Apparently, wireless charging will also be dropped shortly. I guess this is the outcome of the chip shortage. With the ageing C, lack of great options in Merc and the sales model change - BMW really has a good opportunity to capture some market share %. Looks doubtful though because production is not keeping up with the demand.

If I'm a Delhi NCR resident and I buy a new car which is registered in HP, will that be a problem? Will that invite trouble later of any sorts?

As far as I know Delhi is very tolerant to out of state vehicles. The reason may be due to the fact that a lot of Central Service personnel rotate regularly between Delhi and States.

In fact quite a few BHPians have registered their vehicles in Uttarakhand and Chandigarh where the road tax is nominal and ply merrily in Delhi.

Last month when taking delivery of my car the sales rep did confirm that the 5 was losing the laser lights due to the chip shortage. Even production has taken a hit and so discounts are very minimal compared to what you would normally see in this segment (except for Audi but that's a whole different story).

I find it criminal that features such as 360 deg camera and keyless entry were taken away from the 3 entirely. It should be on the M Sport trim at the very least.
My F30 2013 320d had bluetooth calling but no bluetooth music or a sunroof in the base trim. Just shows that BMW likes to pinch one small details.

Also from the general vibe and speech of the sales reps they are trying to push for sales of the LWB over the regular 3.

What Honda really needs is to introduce an SX trim of the new city at Rs. 9,99,999 - tinkering around with discounts on the V and higher models will not get them the volumes up. They need to withdraw the older generation City as soon as possible.

IMHO it's same old offers wrapped as festive offers. Nothing new. I had my sister taking a Jazz couple of months ago and these were the same offers available back then as well.

Fortuner 4x4 by 39,000 (38.18, BLR)
Haven’t tracked other variants but am sure those have gone up too.

Got a quote of 44.5l gurgaon. They would be able to offer some corporate and exchange bonus of 1l further if you get financing from BMW financing you get further 1l off.
