Audi car prices to increase by up to 2.4% from May 1

Audi has announced a price hike of up to 2.4% across its models. The new prices will come into effect from May 1, 2023.



The prices of the Audi Q3 and Q3 Sportback will be hiked by 1.6%. The carmaker has also increased the prices of the Q8 Celebration, RS5 and S5 models by up to 2.4%.

According to the company, prices are being hiked due to an increase in customs duty and input costs. The carmaker states that it has tried to absorb the impact at various levels, but the current situation necessitates an increase in price.

The exact model-wise quantum of the price hike will only be clear at the beginning of next month.

Mahindra Thar prices hiked by up to Rs 1.05 lakh

With the BS6 Stage 2 norms coming into effect, Mahindra has increased the prices of the Thar by up to Rs 1.05 lakh.



Customers planning to order the LX Hard Top Diesel MT RWD variant will be affected the most, as they will have to shell out an additional Rs 1.05 lakh. The price of the AX (O) Hard Top Diesel MT RWD variant has been raised by Rs 55,000, while all other variants get a uniform hike of Rs 28,200.

Following the price hike, the Mahindra Thar range now starts at Rs 10.54 lakh for the AX (O) Diesel RWD variant and Rs 14.49 lakh for the AX (O) Diesel 4WD trim. The LX range starts at Rs 12.04 lakh and goes up to Rs 16.77 lakh for the LX Diesel AT 4WD variant.

Mahindra is reportedly working on a new entry-level variant of the Thar 4WD. It is expected to be a stripped-down version of the AX (O) trim and could be called 'AX AC'.

Mahindra XUV700 prices hiked by up to Rs 71,400

Mahindra has increased the prices of the XUV700 by up to Rs 71,400.



The Mahindra XUV700 is available in MX and AX trims and depending on the variant, prices have been hiked from Rs 48,699 to Rs 71,400. The base MX trim now costs between Rs 14 lakh and Rs 14.94 lakh, while the entry-level AX3 variant is priced from Rs 16.48 lakh to Rs 18.90 lakh.

Prices for the mid-spec AX5 trim range between Rs 17.82 lakh to Rs 20.89 lakh. The top-spec AX7 trim starts at Rs 20.56 lakh for the Petrol MT version, with the AX7 L Diesel AT AWD costing Rs 26.18 lakh (ex-showroom).

The XUV700 is available with two engine options. These include a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 197 BHP and 380 Nm and a 2.2-litre diesel that puts out 182 BHP and 420 Nm (MT) / 450 Nm (AT). Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.

Mahindra Scorpio-N prices hiked by up to Rs 51,299

Mahindra has increased the prices of the Scorpio-N by up to Rs 51,299. This is the second price hike since its launch in June 2022.



Following the latest price revision, the Scorpio-N range starts at Rs 13.06 lakh for the base Z2 Petrol MT 7-seater variant, while the top-spec Z8L Diesel AT 4WD 7-seater costs Rs 24.51 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Scorpio-N is available in five trims: Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8 and Z8L. The SUV is available in 7-seater and 6-seater configurations.

The Scorpio-N comes with two powertrain options. These include a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with 198 BHP / 380 Nm and a 2.2-litre diesel producing 173 BHP / 400 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. Select variants are equipped with a four-wheel drive system.

Mahindra had increased the prices of the Scorpio-N by Rs 1.35 lakh in January this year.
