Is this a good price, considering what other dealers are offering on the Honda City Automatic ?

is this 11.40 OTR the revised cut price?
if so then your discount seems decent enough.
it means you got 75K cash discount + reverse sensor.
Try and squeeze in a few more accessories. and ofcourse the body cover which is the easiest to get.
The AT variant should give you a better discount than the MT variant.

I bought the City AT last week in Bangalore. The two OTRs I saw in the market are 11.38 (no 3+4 yr warranty) and 11.48 (includes 3+4 warranty and RSA). This was across all 3 dealers in Bangalore.
So not sure of 11.40. Does it include the 3+4 warranty?
I got 80K disc plus some accessories, deal posted couple of pages back. Another friend of mine settled for the same deal a week later.

Talk about timing! I am looking for City AT in Bangalore. Post TD, the SA offered free insurance, Corporate discount of 15k plus free accessories-E Kit, 3M Sunfilm, Reverse parking sensor, floor mats and puncture kits. This was the opening offer. Yesterday on phone SA mentioned about leather offer so will check on that during my second meeting with him on Saturday.

VW is offering discounts on petrol variants of the Polo and Vento. A BU Bhandari (VW West Pune) radio advert playing for the past couple of weeks claims it is as high as 40K for the Polo and 30K for the Vento. Not sure if the Polo 1.6 and Vento AT are included.

Sorry if this has already been reported- I did a quick scan of the last 5 pages or so fo this thread and didn't see this, so posted.

Floor mats come with the car (with a City badge on them). Many dealers apparently push that as an accessory offer. So do not value that much.
The Puncture Kit and the Body Cover I believe make up the E-Kit. So no point mentioning that separately.

The leather deal I heard is 10.8 OTR with Augusta leather seats, Sun film, reverse parking camera (not sensor), side protectors. This does NOT include 3+4 year warranty + RSA.

Good to know. We don't mind the chromification (with due respect to Google ) so am tempted at Exclusive V-AT variant as well (albeit that is leatherette which again is something that we prefer). Lets see how much I can extract in second meeting and what works out best. Will update this thread.

From personal experience, I haven't found the reverse sensors much of a value add; you can't "rely" on it.

Why don't you try for a reverse camera instead in place of Sunfilm, puncture kit etc.

Yes that is something which I have in mind as well (wife wants it) so will have to extract that in lieu of reverse sensor (or part of it) from SA. Whatever he offered us so far was his opening offer without any discussions. He did mention that he can match any other offer which my friend would have got but I found his statement to be very open ended. I am hoping to make good use of the deals listed in this thread for recent ANHC purchases

What you do is make up an imaginary mindblowing discount. And claim that your friend has received the same.
Then ask the dealer to match it.
Ofcourse keep it a little realistic too.
Too much and he will know you are bluffing.
You should get an overall discount ok 80-90K.
No whether you take it fully in cash
Or mix it between cash and acessories is up to you.
Ofcourse mixing it makes the full deal more achievable.
Hope this helps.

re: The "NEW" Car Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & Deals

Can anyone help me with current trend on best deal on Vento AT.
They currently have an offer of 35k whereby one can club different offers to the extent of 35k.
At 10Lac on road, it seems that the difference between City and Vento with upward bias on city diminishing.

OT: I have read so many posts here on mentioning high nosed VW attitude. On the contrary I found them one of the best on this front. Thats the only maker who had an AT vehicle for TD ready.

Rgds.

Polo 1.6 is included in the discounts, not sure of the Vento AT,though!

All discounts say as 'limited offer' not sure the cut-off date of the offer.

Chers!

What is the OTR otherwise without any discounts?
This will give us a clearer picture.
Because otherwise according to my calculations.
You are only getting around 50K off the normal OTR.
This is not a great deal.
You should be able to get anywhere betweeb 70-90K
