Thanks and Regards
I dont know much about Honda City cars, but on the accessories front Garware sunfilm sucks, and is the cheapest money can buy. Try coaxing him to get you 3M atleast.

Also, on the insurance front, do you really need zero depreciation insurance ? Think about how you drive, and how much will you damage ? I have been on regular cashless insurance, and have paid only 700-800 bucks each time as insurance charges. Of course, I didnt break any fibre type material - which is 50% depreciation. Getting zero dep. is just a gamble risk not worth taking with your money in my opinion, unless you are a person who really drives the hell out of your car and are one of those roadmaniacs.

The zero depreciation option is the best for any new car not because how the car owner drives but because how other vehicle on the road are driven. You dont know when a maniac drives into your new car and the next thing is a big hole in the pocket. To have the peace of mind, I would suggest to pay the extra amount and heave a sigh of relief knowing that any damage would not burn a hole in the pocket esp after the that expensive purchase.

Hi Cheshirecat,

Lets go pointwise -
1. Its possible to register the car in your name at the Navi Mumbai address, provided you have atleast one document in your name of that address. (Say, a mobile phone bill)

2. Not very sure on this part. However, I did go for the Honda Assure thing straightaway, since I did not have any idea whatsoever on the insurance part, and had no interest in finding out either. I bought the City in August this year.

3. RSA is recommended if you travel frequently on the Highways.

4. As Ghodlur puts it, it'll be a lot of hassle to do this. Unless you have that much time and patience, I would suggest you leave it to the dealership.

5. Its a good deal, however if you're dealing with Apex, Worli, drop me a PM, I could be able to get you something more

The new Vento is 11.42 OTR in Mumbai. I already have the i20 Asta in Petrol. Looking for second car. Thought I should get a diesel sedan. The price of petrol is a killer, even though my running is not very heavy. Thus the reasoning for a diesel .

re: The "NEW" Car Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & Deals

can anyone help me with the current on-road price of a punto in Delhi. Went to the dealer he says there is an off of Rs...... and the price of the base model is around Rs . 4.1, I was under the impression that it was much lesser.

He further said that the huge 90k discount is only for the 90bhp model which already sells for around 7.5..
