Mercedes-Benz will be increasing its ex-showroom prices from January 1, 2022, only select models will be affected by the upwardly price revision that will range up to 2 percent.

Protection from January 2022 price hike offered on A-class, E-class and GLA customers who booked until December 31, 2021.

Customers who have booked the GLE 450 and GLE 400d SUVs, and have been waiting for deliveries since April this year, have been given the assurance of price protection as well.

Honda offers end-of-year discounts of up to Rs. 45,000

Honda has announced end-of-year discounts on its cars. Offers of up to Rs. 45,108 are available on the Amaze, WR-V, City and Jazz.



The Honda City is being offered with the highest benefits of Rs. 45,108. It includes a cash discount of up to Rs. 7,500 or FOC accessories of up to Rs. 8,108. Additionally, there's an exchange bonus of Rs. 15,000. Honda customers can avail of a loyalty bonus of Rs. 5,000, an exchange bonus of Rs. 9,000 and a corporate discount of Rs. 8,000.

Honda is offering benefits of up to Rs. 15,000 on the Amaze. It includes a loyalty bonus of Rs. 5,000, an exchange bonus of Rs. 6,000 and a corporate discount of Rs. 4,000.

The Jazz is being offered with benefits of up to Rs. 35,147. It includes a cash discount of up to Rs. 10,000 or FOC accessories of up to Rs. 12,147, car exchange discount of Rs. 5,000, Honda customer loyalty bonus of Rs. 5,000, Honda car exchange bonus of Rs. 9,000 and a corporate discount of Rs. 4,000.

The carmaker is offering benefits of Rs. 28,000 on the WR-V, which includes an exchange bonus of Rs. 10,000, Honda customer loyalty bonus of Rs. 5,000, Honda car exchange bonus of Rs. 9,000 and a corporate discount of Rs. 4,000.

There are also offers on the 4th-gen Honda City. Customers can avail of benefits of up to Rs. 22,000. It includes a Honda customer loyalty bonus of Rs. 5,000, an exchange bonus of Rs. 9,000 and a corporate discount of Rs. 8,000.

These offers are valid till December 31, 2021.

Hyundai announces year-end benefits up to Rs 50,000

Hyundai has announced year-end benefits and discounts worth up to Rs 50,000 on select models. These are applicable on the Santro, Grand i10 NIOS, i20 and Aura and are valid till December 31st, 2021.



The Hyundai Santro is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 40,000. This is for all models apart from the base 'Era' and 'Executive' trims. The CNG powered variants are available with offers of up to Rs 17,300.

Benefits worth Rs 40,000 are being offered on the Hyundai i20. However, this is only for the 1.2-litre Asta iMT trim. Other petrol and diesel-powered variants get up to Rs 21,000 and Rs 15,000, respectively.

The SX+ petrol variant of the Hyundai Aura is available with the highest benefits of up to Rs 50,000. Other petrol and diesel variants get offers of up to Rs 25,000. The CNG version of the Aura receives benefits of Rs 17,300.

The Grand i10 NIOS turbo models also receive benefits of up to Rs 50,000. The remaining petrol and diesel-powered trims get lower benefits of up to Rs 25,000. Also, similar to the Aura, the Grand i10 NIOS CNG trim gets Rs 17,300 worth of benefits.

40k discount is only on IMT and 21k / 15k only on Manuals. Absolutely no Hyundai discount on IVT. Not sure on DCT though.

Usually the discounts are a lot better towards end of the year but things seems to be quite different this time. Initially, I was thinking to buy a car towards end of the year but during September 2021, dealer offered me Rs 25,000 cash discount on Honda City 4 Gen. This was in addition to the corporate discount. It was a good decision to purchase in September instead of waiting till end of the year.

Also, i think the dealers are offering more on top of these offers. Today, the dealer called me to check if we were still interested in WRV and he mentioned that he will offer more discounts in addition to the ongoing offers.

That’s pretty good. Managed around 2L on the limo last month for a family member. December discounts seem to have increased. Hope supplies have improved too

Yes you were right about the support from KIA. The dealer is offering 1.50L over and above the offer from KIA.

Get benefits of up to Rs. 65,000 on Tata cars this month

Tata Motors is offering benefits of up to Rs. 65,000 on its model range in December 2021.



The Harrier is available with benefits of up to Rs. 65,000 - the highest among all models. This includes an exchange bonus of Rs. 40,000 and a corporate discount of up to Rs. 25,000 on all variants except the Dark Edition. The exchange bonus on Dark Edition models is Rs. 20,000.

Tata is offering discounts of up to Rs. 40,000 on the Safari. The offer is available on all variants of the SUV, except for the Gold Edition.

Discounts are on offer on petrol, diesel and electric versions of the Nexon. Benefits of up to Rs. 25,000 are available on this car. The Nexon EV is being offered with an exchange discount of Rs. 15,000 for the XZ+ Lux variant and Rs. 10,000 for the XZ+ trim.

The Tiago and Tigor are offered with benefits of up to Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 35,000 respectively.

As someone who bought an altroz at the end of October without any discounts, this makes me slightly happy that there are still no discounts on altroz. Moreover they did hike the prices of Altroz upto 9000 last month.

Already Punch is eating into Altroz sales. Let's see how it fares in the future.

I don't understand the discounts being advertised, esp. when there is only 20 days left for the year end. I guess it is just a bait to increase footfall to attract bookings or get rid of any piled up inventory to those customers who need a car urgently.

Barring a few flopped ones, no other new car is readily available in the market.

Citroen C5 Aircross prices to be hiked by 3% from Jan 2022

The Citroen C5 Aircross is set to get more expensive from January 1, 2022.



Citroen has announced that the prices of C5 Aircross will be increased by 3%. The price hike will affect both variants of the C5 Aircross.

This will be the second price hike in just 2 months. In November 2021, the carmaker has increased the prices of the Feel and Shine variants by Rs. 1.40 lakh and Rs. 90,000 respectively.

Citroen made its debut in the Indian market with the C5 Aircross in April this year. The SUV is based on the EMP2 platform and comes equipped with Progressive Hydraulic Cushions.

The C5 Aircross is powered by a 2.0-litre, diesel engine that produces 175 BHP and 400 Nm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
