Double DIN is just gives bigger size, and there is nothing that Double DIN can do that single DIN cannot. This is just a standard of size specification.

I see nothing new about the new Safari's design. They may have changed the platform, but I cannot see any real fresh design elements here. I feel that this is a wasted opportunity. While changing the platform, they could have modified the design to give it a cooler, new age look.

The AC is the same - only the roof cladding has been modified to cover the non-vent parts. I guess that explains the TATA take on "concealed"

Safari guys, can you find anything different in the interiors. I am not an owner, but I have sat in Safaris and read almost every thread here on one and I cannot find any.

The jump seats really take the cake ....

ACI is breaking the launch of Nissan Evalia (NV200) MPV. 7 seater to be powered by the 1.5 sunny diesel engine. Production to start in Q3 2012.

Can someone at the expo post some interior shots , hope they are better than the exterior. Going by the fact that the front windows are not tinted Nissan also knows people would be more interested in the interior than exterior or may be they have nothing to hide and even here we see mostly micraish dash!

It's not a question of what it can or cannot do. It's the total concept as a whole, which looks quite dated with the New Safari design elements. ICE was just one of the tick off points.

Frankly, I had high hopes from the new Safari, as it was always one of my favorite design vehicles. But this 'New' Safari is more detrimental than incremental, IMHO.

Avanti unveiled!! I HATE the design! Why can't DC design simple fluid looking cars. The Mustang in US is also a 'budget' sportscar but it looks so damn good. Good luck DC with finding buyers. I'd personally take the Accord V6 or even the BMW 320D over this.

Single/Double DIN is the last priority..!!!

Overall, the safari looks more grown up, to be seen if its any better in price, performance and comfort. I think it looks pretty good in white.

Seriously, the Safari Storme has disappointed big time. Except for some exterior fabrication, I don't see this to be any different than the current one. Also, from the video seen now, what's with all those things in the chassis bottom? Seems like the GC might take a setback. See below in the picture.
They couldn't even get rid of the overhead AC vents!! The icing on the cake is the ICE Like everyone else, just hope it's priced right, as I planning one and the race is between the Scorpio and Safari (may be the yet to be released Duster).
