The side profile reminded me of a haunted car with name as Tarzan used in one of the bollywood movie. Did not remember the name of the movie though.

Has anyone noticed that MINI.in - Home page is now live? I don't understand why their 120BHP cars are priced at 20+ lac. For their price, one could easily get a Skoda Superb!

I agree with you but feel it still will find buyers who are interested in going the exclusive way. This will surely be a head turner on our roads and will get the owner a lot of curious looks which is something I feel most sportscars in India are bought for. Because otherwise he only time you can probably drive them to enjoy them is early hours of the morning and even then IMHO its not safe.

BTW where will these cars be serviced? Does DC has separate outlets across the county? Will there be any warranty with the car?

On a side note, I dont find any change apart from the long horizontal chrome splats at the front and rear, that folks are going gaga over it! now with the smiling stance, it looks less brute. guess, am the only one here, not so amazed with the Safari.

So much happening already at the Auto Expo. Suddenly there is so much choice in the Mini SuV segment. I have mixed feeling about the new safari. I have the product but like the ad.

Can't wait to be there on 9th morning.

i mean they have to come up with something in a hurry.

i bet that they were working on something and Xuv500 launched and they got punched in the nuts. they will come up with something awesome and worthy of competing with mahindra.

i mean for god sake they own landrover now. i am sure they can design a good looking new SUV. but development of such projects takes time with constantly evolving market!

Honda has pulled a fast one on us by unveiling the CBR 150R

While we were bussy waiting for the KTM's , Hyosung's and Suzuki's.

This seems to be a pleasant surprise, thumbs up for their fighting spirit even after the floods in Thailand.

PS : they also have new colours for the 250R ( Pearl Heron Blue ) like the bigger Honda's.

Keep it up Honda !

I didn't know that Ashok Leyland was working with Nissan/Renault

The site hints at a price around that of the Xylo !

With a 1.5 litre engine, the pricing will have to be much more agressive, especially with the Maruti Ertiga breathing down its neck

Mahindra seriously shocked Tata, with the XUV5OO looking how it does and the storme looking like somewhere in between the XUV & normal safari, its still upto the old-charm SUV factor which the Safari has to take on sales of XUV. Right now, the XUV is selling almost double the figures of the Safari.

The front end of Manza Hybrid looks so cool. I always loved to hate the tear drop headlights of the current Manza. This is world class. Loved it.

Btw, at Maruti's site, there is mention of SX4 Sport, which looked lovely. So is that coming? 90 BHP DDiS will be lovely to have.

Nissan Evalia looks like omini after B pillar . No competition to Ertiga in the looks department. 1.5 ltr Renault engine , if it is true will be a very good option.
