@Raj - Thanks! The Duster does make the Ecosport look like a sedan on stilts. I'm really curious now to see how Ford has packaged the interiors to derive space cause from the looks of it, the Duster does look more spacious. And of course the more SUV of the two.

This is sad - Duster does not have an engine/gearbox that matches it's looks. EcoSport does not have the looks to match it's supposedly fantastic engine/GB...

I think that's because of the black cladding in the bottom section of the car. It accentuates that feeling of being sedan on stilts, especially in the white color.

I think at the front, the Ecosport looks futuristic / modern while the Duster has more mature and a bit old school looks, and I'm not saying that's a bad thing. It looks good in its own way. At the back it's a different story - I don't like the way the Duster looks from behind. The Ecosport looks way better.

I am not sure if this is the Big announcement Ford is talking about. The tweet says "We are all set for the big announcement very soon. So hold onto this space for more!"

It says "the big announcement" and not "a big announcement" which means they are talking about something which everyone is aware of and waiting for.

Moreover, in a span of 5 minutes they tweeted about the 'MyEndeavour alterrain' series. If in 5 mins they had to they had to make a big announcement, why would they send a tweet in the first place.

I have a personal distaste for the wheel hanging in the rear of the car. Can that be done away with? I know there is no other place to keep the spare, but just a wheel on the back was not a sign statement to push it to SUV category. For an urban car the spare wheel looks odd. Especially after the Duster to EcoSport comparison photos the wheel is starting to look more rustic. A clean back would have really made a different statement. Its also difficult to keep the rubber clean always to match the gloss on the body. Not sure if many subscribe to this idea, but I would have loved an alternate EcoSport version/variant with the wheel tucked into the car.

"the leg space you see is after adjusting the seat to my driving position iam 5'11.

also you can see a closeup shot of the interior surface to judge the quality.

the display screen shows everything from blower speed , if doors are opened , there are many things on the display like show turn indicators and all its very accurate and gizmo freaks will just enjoy a lot .

the car has a nice dead pedal too.

the nvh of the car is just amazing .

rear bench has adjustable back rest

Does it have 16 inch wheels? -sorry dint check buddy iam sorry but i think its 15

What about the Bluetooth sync feature? -Microsoft sync

Reverse camera or indicators? -reverse indicators

Voice command? -yes voice commands there is a button on steering too

Power connection in the back seat? -yes it has I think it has , the front seats have that recessed compartment too . Sunglasses holder also . Sun visors are nice and big

No there was no start stop button on this model , and iam extremely sorry I dint check cruise control

I dint find any problem with thigh support the seats are very nice and comfortable .dont benchmark it with storme and you will be fine

Ford has done a good job with this car,now it just boils down to the pricing,if its done right there wont be any stopping for Ford and they will have hit the right chord like how they did it with figo,The smart thing Ford did with the Figo was they had almost 4 variants in petrol and diesel to make Figo sale-able to all prospective income groups,i feel Ford should do the same thing at the launch of Ecosport.Have as many variants as possible so that one can stretch their budget a little bit and opt for a bigger car than a hatchback
