Yes. All prices are ex showroom Delhi.

I assume there shall be a marginal difference in ex showroom prices of other regions. But still getting a fully loaded Zdi < 10L OTR is brilliant.

Priced 1 L below SX4 Zdi. I think its pretty decent pricing.

Looks like steal pricing !!! No one can beat Maruti in terms of VFM tags. Let me prepare myself for getting new Ertiga ZDI.

Re: Maruti Ertiga 7-Seater : Auto Expo 2012

The price difference is 141000 ex showroom between base variants where as for top end variant difference is 115000. I am sure features will be same . is such huge price difference justified ?

On the other side, MSIL is struggling to meet the demand for diesel on one hand and they are launching more and more diesels with a same engine. how far is this correct. or is it so that that the waiting period is artificially created by them to keep the interest going .

Superb pricing!! In fact the management is stressing it is "Very Introductory" price in response to a question by a journo. I'd love a TD of the petrol ZXi (it looks great VFM at just a shade over 8 lakhs on-road Delhi).

Yupp the difference seems to go down progressively as we move up the model range. 141k for base, 130k for mid range and 110k for the top end.

Re: Maruti Ertiga 7-Seater : Auto Expo 2012

IMO, ZDi is very nicely priced.

I was surprised to hear that Ertiga is a CKD from Indonesia. MSIL has invested 410 Crores to develop Ertiga.

I might go in for this car after seeing it in flesh.

^^^ Yes these should be ex-showroom Delhi (as per Maruti's previous launches).
But these are introductory prices only, & are expected to go up after some time (read after good market response).

No, It is not a CKD from Indonesia. Rather it would be other way it would exported as a CKD to Indonesia; I think mostly petrol Ertiga only.

Who said its a CKD from Indonesia? It's going to Indonesia as a CKD for sale there. It's made in India.

Re: Maruti Ertiga 7-Seater : Auto Expo 2012

Realistic pricing, IMO. Lower than the SX4, and comparable to Xylo. While the Xylo is larger and very well equipped, the Ertiga is perhaps more user friendly and finished better.

Be a little more charitable towards them, Sir. At least they offer what the market wants, only they cannot meet demand. And in the segment they operate in, people plan a car purchase over 6 months or more, so waiting period is not that much of a bother! Sometimes (not now) we were even made to wait for months for a 5 series or E class, and then we had to buy whatever colour was available, all while paying 40 - 60L! And good sellers like the Innova or the XUV are still carrying month- long waiting lists.

Re: Maruti Ertiga 7-Seater : Auto Expo 2012

Anyone can update on the specs of the variants. Definetely killer pricing but if we get ABS in the lower variants its just unbeatable. The petrol will also prove to be real value for money considering the fact that the difference of Rs. 1.5 lakhs and the insurance costs, road tax and maintenance costs are considered.

Absolutely Killer Pricing. The larger gap between Petrol and Diesel I guess is to promote Petrol, since most people are nowadays rushing for Diesel. Also the Lxi to Ldi gap is larger since I am ssuming there is no abs in Lxi while ABS is standard in diesel variants. ABS in petrol starts from VXi. I may be wrong though.
