Now that Makes it 4 MPV/MUV vehicle to start with E to have been launched in 2012-13.

Ertiga, Evalia, Enjoy and Ecosport

I am not sure how you could fit Ecosport in the MPV/MUV band. I have personally seen the car at Cochin Mall and its a very cramped vehicle and absolutely hold nothing about a 'Multi purpose/utility' factor in it.

For me, Ecosport is a car with SUV looks and Ertiga a big car trying to be an MUV.
The closest to an MPV/MUV is Enjoy and Evalia.

Re: Chevrolet Sail (Hatchback) & Chevrolet MPV (Enjoy) : Auto Expo 2012

Had a test drive for Enjoy yesterday.....I felt driving dynamics and body roll are better than Ertiga, Evalia and Innova. Power delivery is Linear with less turbo lag and car is pulling effortlessly. Space is on par or better than Innova. Quality of plastics is not great.

Overall, value for money as the top will be priced under 10L on road.

Mileage 18.2/L

Thank you for sharing your TD experience of the Enjoy. Couple of queries here.

Does the Enjoy come with only captain seats in the second row?
How much boot space is available when 3d row of seats are up?
Are there separate AC vents for all rows of seats?

- Yes, you have option of captain seats ( I felt very comfy) or three member bench ( with 40:60 fold-able) in top end model.

- You can keep couple of air bags (Medium) when third row seats are up.

Third row seats are decent with knee room better than Innova, Ertiga.

I felt ride quality to be good.

- you have two AC vents for in all variants as standard.

Thanks for answering my queries bageherath. Does the 3rd row of seats folds down flat completely or it also has a split option like the second row?

Also, what are the safety options? Is ABS standard? (Especially for a vehicle this size with just 14" wheels). EBD?

I presume, because this is a budget MPV, Driver & Passenger airbags will only come for the top end variant.

And Warranty? It must come with the Chevy warranty i.e. 3 years, 1,00,000kms warranty, does it?

Point is, majority of the time what we need most is good acceleration in city between 20-60kmph, and on highway between 60-110kmph. Even with the 75bhp engine, if the Enjoy can give us that, it means quite a bit. Because, that's the Innova's utility at 60% of the price! While both the engines are time tested and quite reliable.

IMO If Enjoy starts at ~7.5L, the Innova & Ertiga are going to feel the pinch big time. Moreover even if practically the in city mileage is ~14.5km/l then its on par with Ertiga (for a roomier cabin).

Now to see it in real and the only thing that doesn't work for me is the boxy design, but looks are subjective. Also, waiting for the official T-BHP review for a better perspective.

.
ABS with EBD and dual airbags will be only available in Top Variant.

There are 3 variants LS, LT and LTZ

LS (Diesel) should be around 8L - 8.25L on road Hyderabad

LT (Diesel) should be around 8.8 L - 9.2 L on road Hyderabad

LTZ (Diesel) should be around 9.7 L on road Hyderabad

Diff between LT and LTZ is Dual airbags and ABS with EBD.

Enjoy does not look that boxy in silver color.
