There is something wrong in association of 1949 date with CJ3B. This is not correct. I remember UBS sir always mentioning "bawan" (1952) for the CJ3A after which production of CJ3B was started.

Rehaan I was wondering that the Genio they have showcased is totally different from the one they have shown on their website, the double cab has a very utilitarian bed where as this one is far better looking, can you dig some info on this, if this is actually going to be launched and if yes what is the price.

Would anybody has more detail on the Thar Expedition? will the accessories shown in the AutoExpo 2012 be sold in the dealer network OR again at a Mahindra Customisation centre in Mumbai like the Thar Adventure?

The color suits the body design and the image...any idea which color is this one? an existing color OR a new one?

THAR Expedition proved to be major photo op vehicle. Be it guys or girls of various age groups every on wanted a pic with this vehicle. Though this vehicle is customized but in future all the accessories shown will be available through the select dealer network saving the pain of sending vehicle to Mumbai. It is for the first time any manufacturer in India would be offering off road worthy accessories. Availability will be on order and will take few months time before you see it in the showrooms.

The colour on the vehicle is called Masai Green already available on XUV 500. Decision yet to be taken on availability of this colour on regular model. THAR on display had factory fitted A/C with immobilizer if any one observed.

What do you call this light (marked in red) in the picture. It looks like it is motor driven and the driver can adjust the spot where the beam should fall. Is this available in the market?

As you have already mentioned, they are called search light and in earlier days it used to be helpful during Hunting.

Is anyone able to provide more information about the book. I find lots of information about the Scorpio coffee table book but not the XUV5OO book. Even dealers are clueless about the same.

If there are any leads, i would like to own a copy of the book.
