Nope, I don't think so.

Even though the concept EcoSport that was displayed at the Auto Show is 4200 mm, the production EcoSport should be less that 4000 mm so that Ford can capitalize on selling it at a much lesser price-tag. The Q3 on the other hand, is a shade below 4400 mm. That's a foot-long ruler and a smaller ruler attached to each other.

But in terms of width, the EcoSport (Concept) is alarmingly a whole 150 mm wider. Perhaps that's because it is still a concept?

While I wouldn't find much difference in interior space between the two, I'd expect the Audi to be a whole lot more plush and luxurious, obviously. It would have the bigger boot too, I suppose.

Re: Audi (including Q3 and A3 e-tron concept) @ Auto Expo 2012

The car at the Expo has the "S-Line" package, which gives it a much nicer body kit and sporty interiors !! Although this is the LHD version they got for the display, from what I can guess from the Scoop pics of the Q3 posted earlier on Team-BHP, I think we wont be getting the S-Line styling !!

I hope I am wrong !! Can someone throw some light on this ? I am going to get the Q3 but it would be real disappointing not to have the S-Line body kit !!

I doubt the Q3 Quattro with a 2.0 TDI engine will be launched at 25L ex showroom. I think it will be close to 30 L atleast for the fully loaded 2 litre TDI quattro. Eagerly waiting for Audi to prove me wrong. and price it at 25L as mentioned by you.
In that case, I will stretch my already stretched budget and purchase it right away.

The Q3 can well become another Nail in the Coffin for things like the CRV, the Santa Fe and the Captiva Extreme and the X1 and not to forget, the Koleos!

Jalsa, good pics but you have posted the R8 spyder's 0-100 dash time of 5.2 seconds. I threw a fit.
Please rectify it to around 3.4/3.5 seconds to the ton. Thanks

Re: Audi (including Q3 and A3 e-tron concept) @ Auto Expo 2012

Thanks for the sharing the much awaited pics of the Audi Q3. The car looks smashing in that colour. But a tad bit disappointed to see the overall dimensions. Is it as big as the X1? Also any comments on the head room for the rear seat passengers? The swooping rear must have taken its toll on the feeling of airiness inside the car right?

Link to review of Audi Q3 by Autocar.

Not a great review by Autocar, But the Video is good to see the vehicles in different angles as well as look at the interiors.

CnB review of Q3 can also be seen in the below link. The CNB review of Q3 is much better I felt.

Re: Audi (including Q3 and A3 e-tron concept) @ Auto Expo 2012

Love the compact design of the Audi Q3. I guess the S Line will come to India as I heard one of the Audi executives at the expo confirming this to a 'privileged' individual (Coz he was inside the pavillion and i was not).

Re: Audi (including Q3 and e-tron concept) @ AutoExpo 2012

The Audi Q3 looks much better proportioned than the BMW X1. And that red colour is superb. What's the expected price range of the Audi Q3?

Re: Audi (including Q3 and A3 e-tron concept) @ Auto Expo 2012

Just curious. What are those manual [knob] selector switch I've circled in red, on the Q3? Considering even the economical Chevy Beat comes with ACC, I don't suppose those knob controls are for AC? That knob switch is also present in VW Polo and Vento [as headlight gear switch].

Hello

It is the acc unit and one is the blower selector and the other the temperature selector, the display in the centre will show you your settings,

Re: Audi (including Q3 and A3 e-tron concept) @ Auto Expo 2012

Shouldn't the power output of the Q3 & Q5 diesel's be the same? It is shown as 180 & 170 bhp respectively. From what i know its 170bhp.
Audi should have showcased the facelifted A4 as well, its being tested here in Mumbai, wouldn't have taken much effort to take it to Delhi!
When is Audi going to officially launch the S6? It looks delicious in the pics.
