Hi all, In the 2014 Auto Expo Chevrolet will be showcasing the Chevrolet Adra compact SUV concept (based on the Trax’ underpinnings) will go head to head against the Renault Duster and the Ford EcoSport. The image below is of Chevrolet Trax Concept.



Apart from the Adra concept and the Beat facelift, Chevrolet will display the Chevrolet Sail U-VA accessorized, Chevrolet Sail accessorized, Chevrolet Enjoy accessorized, Chevrolet Corvette, Chevrolet Camaro and Chevrolet Trailblazer.

I can understand if they want to get rid of the glam quotient in the pavilion, but they would very well provide a tribute to Karl Slym by lining up the outcomes of his vision & effort. That would be a great way to bid farewell.

Hi all, As per reports from I.A.B; Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced its plans for the Auto Expo 2014 which starts next week. A total of 17 vehicles will be displayed by the Japanese car maker at the show.

Yep, I also noticed the report yesterday and it seems HMSI has finally woken up. An i4 middle weight is just what is needed considering the ultra expensive full blown litre class rockets.

This my dear fellows, is pretty much based on the CBR600F which was unveiled in 2011 and had USD forks. I wish they had retained it in this model.

I guess, this would be good news for lot of i4 fans like me.

Global debut of Ford compact sedan concept , Hatchback global launch deferred.

Italian motorcycle manufacturer, Moto Morini will launch two bikes at the 2014 Auto Expo – Granpasso and Scrambler.
The bikes will be imported through the CBU route and distributed by Mumbai-based custom bike builder, Vardenchi. Prices will be announced during the time of the launch and deliveries are expected to commence in June-July 2014.

Hi all, As per IAB GM India has announced through its Facebook page that the 2014 Chevy Camaro ZL1 will be in attendance at the Auto Expo which kick starts next week. Apart from the Camaro, the 2014 Corvette will also mark its presence at the Expo.

The 2014 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine.

Hi all, Latest update is that Audi Sports Quattro concept will be showcased at 2014 Auto Expo next week. Unveiled first at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September last year, the Sport Quattro Concept previews a successor to the legendary Audi Quattro. Audi Sport Quattro Concept packs 700 hp as per IAB reports.

The concept features a hybrid drivetrain pairing a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine and a disc-shaped electric motor to a new 8-speed tiptronic gearbox.

Combined, the Sport Quattro sends out 700 hp and 800 Nm of torque to all its wheels, thereby achieving a 0-100 km/h run in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 305 km/h. Audi claims the coupe can be run on pure electricity for up to 50 km, while the hybrid efficiency is rated at 2.5 liters per 100 km (40 km/l). This corresponds to CO2 emissions of a mere 59 g/km.

Mahindra REVA will unveil the Mahindra Halo, a two-door, two-seater electric sports car concept at the AutoExpo according to AutocarIndia. It will be a two door, two seater electric car.

Powering the Mahindra Halo will be an electric motor developing approximately 105kw or around 140bhp. According to company sources the production version of the Halo will get a high-capacity battery “similar to the one in the Tesla” and company has a set a sub-seven second 0-100kph time and a top speed of over 200kph.

The Mahindra Halo won’t be cheap and the production version is likely to cost Rs. 30-35 lakh when it goes on sale sometime in 2015-16.
