Great pics, it really shows the menacing look.

To me Duster resembles Hyundai Tuscon.
Renault (including Duster Unveil) @ Auto Expo 2012 - EDIT: Now launched at 7.19 Lacs-hyundaitucson2.jpg

The only fear i have is After Sales service & thin wafer dealership.
I don' wanna buy a car which proved to be a Dud a year later.
So Renault have to invoke trust in the mind of the consumers that its not repeating the same story of Fiat or Peugeot.
A lot is at stake for Renault in India & i think Duster would be make or break for Renault.

In the third pic, a glimpse of driver is seen and feels like the driver position is low for a vehicle of this size!

Do we know if there is drive seat height adjustment available? (Certainly not like the one in Figo!!).

Getting impatient by the day to see Duster being lunched and a solid, no nonsense, unbiased T-BHP review from the gurus. AND of course owning the Duster (sooner than later!)

Cheers!

Diesel version may become too costly if GOVT impose additional tax for the Diesel version.

I believe the low/middle end version will enough equipped with all the feature like ABS, alloy. It will be not like other manufacturer (Dont wanna mention) that only Top End version will be having this Basic feature of 21st Century

More Gadget/feature means = More Maintaining Cost

Is the height of this mainly because of the wheels?. Looks good though, Hope Renault doesnt make it a premium vehicle. It should somewhat like a what a Bolero is for Mahindra (wishing)

Very aptly put! It does look like a frog kissing the road. Surefooted and mean. Cant wait for the official launch and TBHP review.

Renault seems to fulfill all my wishes that i had set for Ecosport.

One last wish- Please Please make it sure Top-end variant remains Below 10Lac mark even in Punjab.

Always welcome . In fact, vehicle will start arriving to dealer yards from 25th or so. Its just that they will take a couple of days on their procurement process. And by 20th prices will be available with dealers + any finance tie up with banks

I wonder if hyundai will re-invent the Tucson to compete in the Indian market. That might give Duster some competition and us consumers more choice.

Guys, in the pictures taken by 1100D and a lot of other pictures, the Duster looks a bit lowish, but in the pictures by YellowEye, it looks pretty high. Is it for real or just an optical illusion?

Totally agree with you.
I would love to see Hyundai badge instead of Renault.
The Tucson was misspelled as Tuscon in my earlier post
The irony is Tucson is mispronounced more than it is misspelled.
Why cant Hyundai launch Tucson again for Indian market.
Launch it and priced it on par with Scorpio, Safari and we will be spoilt for choices.
