I hope Maruti offers bright red (instead of the current brick red colour) that comes with the Swift. Swift deserves better sporty colours to match its character.

Re: Maruti Suzuki to launch new Swift DZire in February

I doubt that MSIL would launch it today, however we can expect the launch anytime in mid Feb.
I truly hope that Maruti doesn't come with excessive pricing for this product otherwise it might be difficult to get its old sales numbers.

The launch is in a few hours. Eager to hear about the pricing. While the boot is much smaller than the outgoing car, the 2012 Dzire is a step forward in all other areas.

Re: Maruti Suzuki to launch new Swift DZire in February

The emcee (Sonali Gupta) is currently running through a rehearsal. You can hear and see through the streaming video on the Dzire site. Also saw the TVC of the dzire, showing a couple talking to each other about desires. I think he wanted a Dzire while she wanted a baby, seeing the baby being held by a person in the car.

Thank you GTO for this news my father was keen to book Dzire Petrol in mid January and after initial inquiry and quotation the dealer was ready to give delivery within 10 days, but based on the discussion in this thread that on 1st February 2012 the new Dzire is expected to be launched I asked him to wait till the launch.

I am also hooked on the pricing from Maruti. Hope that it is not more than the current Dzire.

Re: Maruti Suzuki to launch new Swift DZire in February

The webcast is getting ready

Maruti Suzuki Dzire webcast:: Powered by Virtual Studio – www.vsworld.com <<

Good, only thing, please focus the camera on the price list when it is shown, during the last Dzire launch, the camera didn't show the Presentation slide and we were seeing car only during the price launch and the speaker didn't read out loud the prices.

You cracked it buddy!! Exactly my point.

1. *new* grill
2. *new* airdam
3. *new* foglamps
4. *new* headlights
5. *new* dashboard
6. *new* beige color
7. *new* steering controls
8. *new* steering wheel
9. *new* ACC
10. *new* stereo
11. *new* brake lights
12. *new* Boot
13. *new* ORVM indicators
14. *new* colors
15. *new* alloy wheels
16. *new* AC grill
..
..
..
..

And we have not started talking about the *actual* features including chassis & the likes. Who said it can't 150 features?
Here's the official new features list

This is as expected, isn't it? Most of the features are not something you would call new features.
Thank god they have not listed wheels as one of the feature

Re: Maruti Suzuki to launch new Swift DZire in February

This is plainly appalling! In the name of new features, I see new "wheel arch design" and other ridiculous points!

I am sure the marketing team was given a mandate to arrive at the 150 number - hook or crook. Alas, this list will make it to every dealer and will become part of the sales story explaining why the *New* DZire costs same (or more) compared to the old one.

In the end, it will be MSIL laughing all the way to the bank. Full stop.
