I went to dealer stockyard to do PDI of my Scorpio SLE when I saw a car which seemed different, and was covered. Upon asking the sales manager present with me, he told me it was Xylo E9 and would be on sale soon...a month or two maybe.

I never liked looks and stance of Xylo but this change in design looks much better. Also E9 would come with mHawk as against mEagle in current Xylo.

Please find attached few pics I took from my phone when sales manager was looking the other way.

If it is the E9 from the Xylo range then the front looks much better than the current one. Looks more aggressive and a mhawk innit , wont it hit their Scorpio sales ?

Thanks for the excellent scoop, Dieseling.

This facelift looks much better than the old one. mHawk engine would reduce the weight and improve performance.

Looks to have leather seats as well.

It looks pretty good. Better than the current Xylo. I think this smaller Xylo might find more than a few takers. Just hope they've worked on the ergonomics, because Mahindra has been known to muck it up.

If they price this well, this could be a serious contender in the blossoming mini-crossover market, even before the launch of the EcoSport, Duster..

Wow ... This looks good. Will it come only in E9? Or it will be coming in all variants? I wish it would come in all. This looks better than current gen Xylo. If they make it same looks in all i guess they will find more customers for it.

Looks nice, always loved the Xylo for the sheer practicality. Can walk around in the car. Just hated the looks, and looks like they fixed that to a large extent.

Front look like a Dodge or Chevy truck from abroad, very macho. Love the new front, now only if they changed the console inside.

Great scoop Dieseling.

I like what M&M has done to the front. And mHawk in place of mEagle is great news. Something which Toyota completely missed during the recent Innova facelift.

Somehow, Xylo hasn't done the numbers it is capable of till now. Hopefully, this facelift will change that.

High time, I should go buy M&M shares. Their product portfolio is almost striking all the right notes. This is really a good improvement on the looks department - among the biggest drawback of Xylo, IMO.

For once, what was like after ages, a M&M front end design treatment gets an applause!
Great job with the styling, considering how they had messed up the previous design.

Any changes to the rear of the Xylo?

The front is really good. Lot better than the older one, smoked lights suit the color perfectly
