Came across this news on rediff that, Ford which unveiled its new small car B-MAX in Geneva Motor Show, may also launch it in India.

Since I always take any auto news from rediff with a pinch of salt, I did a little cross check, and found a piece in ET too.

@ Mods: I searched and found no threads on B-MAX, please merge if there already exists one.

The car looks pretty neat. Doesn't look much like a concept. And are they using the same design allow wheels for all the concept cars? Saw the same design on EcoSport as well!

The ecosport should probably come first given that it was showcased in the Autoexpo. But ford does need to bring in models that make sense in india and not just those that showcase its global capability. And of course price them sensibly!
I like the B-max but i doubt it will come through in the same avatar. I suspect the sliding doors will give way to normal doors.

Overall the car looks neat. Are they going to have these sliding doors in the final model? That would probably be a first in a small hatch.
